First VV cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

We chose VV because they are new and adults only so we decided to try it, we like trying new cruise lines to experience something new and compare to other cruise lines we've sailed with. We were kind of disappointed with VV. Embarkation and Debarkation were very smooth which was nice, the ship was nice and loved that it's a smart ship. However, the VV app was glitchy and frustrating at times and ...

Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady Cruiser Beware

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

I recently returned from a cruise on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and was a little disappointed. We did have a good time, but it was not great as all the hype videos we watched before the cruise. The no kids policy, embarkment, sail way champaign party, Scarlet Night, sea view terrace room with the hammock, and housekeeping staff were all excellent. However, the reservations for food and shows ...

Disappointed in this ship

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Sky

The crew were wonderful: happy, friendly, accommodating, helpful. The food was quite good. The ship: not so much. Norwegian Sky is a smaller ship which we prefer. It did not feel crowded. Waiting, if any, was minimal. The ship was well maintained. It was the layout and utilization which wasn't so great. And the decor was pretty bland. The casino opened out into the Atrium on Deck 7, ...

Embarking on a recent voyage aboard the Norwegian Escape, I was eager to explore the luxurious amenities and exceptional service promised by this renowned cruise line. While the overall experience offered a blend of positive and negative aspects, I would like to provide a comprehensive review that highlights both the remarkable features and areas for improvement on this particular journey. Pool ...

We really had high hopes for this cruise. Now I must say, we usually cruise on Carnival (4 times) and once on Royal Caribbean. I'm not sure what the objective is but everything just seemed lacking. I love cruising...and it's the only way we love to vacation. But it seemed on Virgin Voyages, there are a lot places constantly closed on this ship. At one point we were on deck 5 playing a nice ...

Pleasant Experience not the best experience.

As someone who worked in travel and the cruise industry, Norwegian always stuck out as the best and the innovator in cruising. Years ago, I sailed on the Norway (best ship ever) and the Sunward. This was our first Norwegian cruise in 22 years. We have sailed Royal and Princess several times in the past few years. We chose to book our own flights and transfers which saved a lot of money but ...

I was invited by a group of travelers who get together and go somewhere every year. I was excited about going on this cruise mostly because I wanted to cruise up the East coast and Canada and had never sailed with Regent. We all booked veranda/suites 16 in total. The ship was small in comparison, well maintained and clean. The staff from the Captain down was very friendly, accessible and ...

Lots of potential, severally understaffed.

Definitely a different style of cruising, so make sure your Virgin Voyages is your style before booking. Overall concept was great, food was great, entertainment was good. Recommend going to the drag show, it was amazing! Issue is ship is currently extremely understaffed, especially back of house, kitchen, and bars. This caused major delays for the restaurant for those with reservations, and ...

Service is lackluster on this beautiful ship

We had a fantastic time in spite of the crews best efforts to ruin it. Galley was horrible each time we went. Food came 10-15 minutes apart and once never came. My wife and I were not able to eat breakfast or lunch at the same time any of the 5 times we tried. Servers and supervisor showed no genuine concern or desire to please. Extra Virgin and Pink Agave were both excellent. Would not recommend ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

User Avatar

On our previous MSC Seaside cruise, we had a fantastic experience in an Aurea Balcony room, which is why we decided to book another MSC cruise. This time, we opted for a cheaper Fantastica Balcony room with an obstructed view, hoping to try a different style of cruising. Although I wouldn't describe this experience as terrible, it was definitely disappointing, especially when compared to our last ...
