First the good. This is the second time we have been on MSC Divina. She is a large vessel that is absolutely beautiful in design and appointments. She also seems to be extremely well maintained and is kept super clean and well painted. The carpets are clean, the glass and light fixtures are clean (something I notice) and the ship is well lit.
Embarkation for us was a big improvement this ...
This was a casino certificate from Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. We decided to upgrade to the Yacht Club after reading other reviews of MSC. I’ll try to break it down into areas.
Due to an ice storm, we had to change our flight from Sunday, day of embarkation to Saturday. We had been on a layover in Baltimore-Washington for about 7 hours and had to stay in a pretty awful (last min. booked) hotel ...
We decided to try an MSC cruise because of the itinerary and the price. We read more negative, than positive, reviews and were a little hesitant, but booked the Divina and we are very glad that we did! It was a great cruise!
We disembarked RC Allure of the Seas on January 20th and went to Terminal G to board the MSC Divina. We had to take a taxi from Terminal A to G as it would be impossible ...
Booked this cruise for a winter get away and we REALLY picked a good time to be away as the Midwest was Frigid. We sailed with 2 other couples. Embarkation was very smooth and we were on the ship after a very short wait. The Divina is a very beautiful and well maintained ship.
We went to the Sports Bar shortly afternoon to find out it would not be opening as advertised so went to buffet on 14. ...
We chose this cruise because of the 11 day duration and the destinations. The ship itself is amazing and huge - we are first timers so we were awed by the dimensions. Getting in is well organised but long and a bit difficult at times. The room was very quaint and nice, small for a family of four but we knew that when we reserved. Everything was quite handy in the room and we were happy being ...
Husband and i took this trip as our first getaway kid free. We booked this particular one as they were places we hadn't been and at a great price... plus was just the right amount of time away. I was a little nervous after reading some reviews, but we had a great experience! The staff were friendly, room was always clean(outside room with picture window), the ship was clean, food and drinks were ...
This is our third NCL Cruise. We enjoyed The Bliss. The ship is very clean, the food is good, there is lots to do, and the drink package perk is one of the best in the industry. The Observation Lounge is fantastic. Love the activities in the atrium. Appreciate that the casino is non-smoking (they have an enclosed room). Jersey Boys was very good. Enjoyed the Beatles tribute band. The District ...
My husband and I went on the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas Eastern Caribbean cruise (Nassau, Bahamas - Charlotte Amelie, St. Thomas - Basseterre, St. Kitts) out of Miami (19-26 JAN 2019). We prefer to vacation at all-inclusive beach resorts but decided to give cruises another try and join a group of friends on the Symphony. This was our second cruise (we took a Western Caribbean cruise with ...
I chose this cruise for a girls trip to celebrate my mother's 81st birthday. We generally take a cruise each year and were tired of the other cruise lines and wanted to try something different. We are so glad we did! We had a Fantastica inside cabin. There was adequate space for 4 of us to unpack and store away everything we brought. That's saying something as none of us travels light! We had ...
We chose this cruise as it was recommended by our travel agent. We flew into Miami, but just hung out at our hotel until we departed the next day. Very nice hotel, not much around to do, and pool was outside and cold, but it is January. Our hotel, the Crown Plaza had a big shuttle, only $10 per person, that took us right to the port the next morning. Very nice. Embarkment was fairly fast and easy. ...
