I chose to cruise on Mariner of the Seas as a quick weekend getaway and since it was fresh out of dry dock I figured what better time to go, also I just earned my Diamond Plus status after completing a cruise on Symphony in April so I was excited to back on another cruise as a Diamond Plus member. We enjoyed our cruise to Cuba; however Norwegian shortened our time in Cuba by a half day without communication or the option to re-book. Since spending time in Cuba was our sole purpose for this cruise, I deducted 2 stars.

We chose to take this cruise thinking it would be fun and relaxing for each member of our four person family. Our youngest is one and our oldest is five. The five year old had a blast and was entertained throughout the entire cruise. Our one year old, however, had absolutely nothing to do but just walk around. Norwegian offer "Free at Sea". We had an expectation to be allowed on board spend as advertised in their many emails to me. However, that was not the case. EVERYTHING had to be purchased. We felt cheated.
