Unexpected high charges

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Disney Magic

To be with grandkids I am disappointed with overcharging under gratuities and 30 minute massage. 63.29 tip for every activity including for a 6 dollars spent at laundry. Sand bar charge of 11.43 has a 53.28 tip. Oslo glass wine charge of 109.78 is excessive. This is all in addition to maximum tip I gave to server staff of three and to host who took care of our room. Unless I am ...

Great boat, OK excursions

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

Our first family cruise. Boat was a small city, lots to do, way too much food. Very smooth, it didn’t feel like we were on a boat. Destinations were great but the excursions booked through the cruise were fair. Very expensive for what actually happened. We would have saved a lot of $ if we had planned excursions ourselves and had some freedom on timing. We seemed to spend more time in queues ...

We chose this cruise because the date fit with a Celebrity cruise the week before, and we are Latitudes Platinum members. We were anxious to try out NCL's newest ship. My review is brief; please excuse this if you were looking for a more detailed description. We aren't sun worshippers, preferring instead to find quiet places on the ship to read or stare out at the ocean. And just as well, ...

For the most part we enjoyed the ship. Our Steward Wiji was amazing. The food was fairly good. We enjoyed the buffet more than the dining room. We LOVED how nice the restrooms were with the little towels to wipe our hands off, instead of the hand blowers. The service was overall was very good. The entertainment wasn't the best we have ever seen, in our opinion. We did really enjoy the show ...

This was my second sailing on this ship. I was on the first revenue sailing out of Miami in November. That was a great experience with my husband, relaxing and enjoyed specialty dining. The February sailing was with my daughter for her school vacation. So, yes the shipped was packed with kids, but I knew this was how it would be. If couples are looking for a relaxing enjoyable sailing avoid the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Seaside

We sailed on MSC Seaside Feb.16,2019 thru Feb.23,2019. The ship is beautiful and clean. We had a balcony cabin which was clean and the steward came twice a day. Embarkation was really quick, no long waiting. Upon getting on board we went to the bar to get a beer after our long trip over, asked for two bud lights and he came back with one bud light and a miller light and preceded to tell us they ...

We wanted to see what the biggest ship in the world would be like. We could not believe the speed at which we were able to get on and off the ship. I mean how do they do it. From the time we got out of our taxi, we were in our room in less than 15 minutes. We chose early disembarkation and although the line was long, it moved very quickly. We stayed in an inside cabin which was the largest of ...

Yearly cruisers with two children(13 and 10), our usual line in NCL, but have also cruised Carnival, RC and HAL. I will give you a realistic review of this ship and hit on common complaints in these reviews. EMBARK/DISEMBARK-- Super quick and easy. Off and on in less than an hour. We had to wait about 20 mins to get off at San Juan because we wanted off right away. People were losing ...

Huge Ship - Resort at Sea

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

Summary: Like the title suggests this is a resort at sea. The ship is more interesting than the ports, so shore excursions and visits are an option. Newer, bigger and packed with more things than her sister ships - Symphony is phenomenal. If you don't like crowds - don't follow the crowd. We found quiet spots and not so crowded venues simply by not following the crowd. Having said that - ...

Was cruising with a group of 30 people and I think we all had a great time. The staff on this ship was very professional and personable, I was very impressed. The housekeeping staff was great, they kept the place so clean. I loved the food and the variety of choices. The best beach was Jost Van Dyke and wish we had more time there. And less time in Nassau however for kids the water park at Blue ...
