The steak house was really good. We ate there two times. The food in dinning room was good. Service was good. The buffet was good for breakfast. Lunch in buffet was good for only burgers and sandwiches. Not a lot to choose from. Deserts were good. It was hard to find a set at all times of the day. The night time buffet was the worst of all the different cruise lines we have been on and we have ...

Not Your Usual Norwegian Experience

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Norwegian Sky

As a 4th time cruiser on Norwegian, I was not prepared for the substandard Norwegian Sky. While the food was plentiful, it lacked the quality of Norwegian cruises I have experienced before and service in the dining rooms left a lot to be desired. Meals in the dining rooms took a lot longer than they should have; hence, it was easier to eat at the buffet, but again, the food quality was lacking. ...

Fairly awful service.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Escape

I chose it because of a beautiful new ship and I have always been curious about Norwegian. The restaurants were decent. Not fantastic, but solidly good. The real downer was the service. I called (or tried to call) guest services literally 20-25 times over the course of the first 4 days and literally had them answer once. This is the absolute truth. No exaggeration whatsoever. No one else ...

Disappointing as compared to other lines

We went on this cruise because we were with a group. We have been on several other cruises - different cruise lines. Some of the things we didn't like: - casino smelled bad due to smoking - even though we had the drink pkg. we were charged for bottles of water - Medical office was closed most of the day & when we had a need for some gauze bandaids we were told to go to 13th floor where ...

Worst NCL ship by some distance, but the chaos of Hurricane Irma didn't help

Sail NCL several times each year, first experience on the Sky (and the last)... it isn't even close to the other NCL ships in any category, surprised they've even kept it in the fleet... the food was OK, drinks OK, cabin tiny but OK, entertainment incredibly weak (almost an afterthought), staff were fine to begin with but the whole trip was put into turmoil and for us and many others absolutely ...

The showers are extremly small, the food was not good, they brought us back a day early and they also didn't take us to two of our ports that we were suppose to go to but instead we stayed in nassau for two days and when we called about a refund for port fees they said no refunds because they can't control the weather. This was my first cruise and I will never use royal again because the customer ...

Ship is very old and outdated. Should be taken out. Cabin was very small. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen on any ship and I cruise a lot. Dinning was bad and I never complain about food. The whole set up at breakfast and lunch was very bad. There is only one dance floor on this ship. They had a very good Philippines Band on board. I have not seen any activities. I have never seen our ...

Nothing special, poor service with exception of Chops

to travel with friends and the timing was good, the service was poor through out, unless you spoke to a senior person, Bar food (nuts, chips, Chex-mix...etc.) were not available, no drink service around the pool area a first for us as usually they want you to purchase drinks and food. pool bar by the smoking section was staffed with very rude people as guests saw people sitting there and ...

Not what I expected

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Divina

The MSC Divina is a beautiful ship. The embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth. As for the entertainment when your are on a vacation cruise ship and you leave port the party is suppose to start. There was no music playing everyone was just walking around looking at each other (boring). They put up the lawn chair daily so you couldn't lay out at night, also there was no seating for you to ...

We chose this ship because we had never cruised with Norwegian before. We booked a suite because we like the extra service and extra room space. This ship had no extra service and virtually the same space as balcony rooms on other ships. The only "perk" was a special embarkation line for suite passengers. Unfortunately the suite line was separated from the regular line by a strip of ...
