We chose this cruise because we couldn’t wait to return to one of our beloved pastimes. Our last cruise was February 2020 right before the shutdown. We were thrilled to be living the cruise life once again - albeit shorter duration than we would have preferred. We flew into Fort Lauderdale 2 days prior to the cruise early in the morning. Ubered from FLL to Lago Mar Resort for around 25$. We ...

Really can not talk enough about the staff and crew. They were very friendly and even remembered your name. They made sure you were taken care of. If you needed anything they made sure you got it. Bartenders were friendly and professional and great to talk to. Overall the crew and staff were great. The food was not the greatest. I was really disappointed on the food. We only ate at ...

My first time on Carnival while my wife had been on other Carnival ships. All of our other cruises have been on Princess, Holland, Celebrity, Royal Caribbean plus some river cruises in Europe. We had a balcony cabin deck 7 port side and found it to be quite nice with lots of room to move around, all the storage we needed, a nice balcony and large bathroom. There was nothing to complain about in ...

We’ve cruised with RC many times and not being able to travel the past 2 years, due to Covid, we were looking forward to this. The ship is beautiful but disappointed the Champagne bar has been replaced by the Bionic Bar, hopefully the novelty will wear off. The only other “lounge bar” is the Schooner bar, which we used pre dinner every night. It is set out differently than on other ships and ...

This is a new cruise line. As a travel agents, we got a great deal. Check-in went smoothly. The cruise line paid for each traveler to have a rapid Covid-19 test prior to boarding. The ship is fully of electronic which had some issues, but the customer service response was amazing. Each issue was promptly addressed. The cabin was very nice. I liked the rain shower. Room service was ...

My travel agent informed me of this new ALL ADULT cruise line and I was sold. The setup is very different than other cruises and I love it. The food was amazing and there is a variety (soda and real ice cream included). There was a candy shop that had chocolate covered peanut brittle that kept me coming back (also included). The ports were good and the entertainment was excellent. The staff was ...

I honestly thought that sailing with Virgin was not going to be my best experience. Having watched videos and read reviews, convinced me I was going only so I could say I had. What a pleasant surprise! The balcony cabin had enough space, but it was irritating having to do the shimmy between the end of the bed and wall to get by. The bed is hard but surprisingly comfy. The shower is amazing for ...

A fun time but crowded

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

We were on with extended family, including three teenagers. There was plenty to do on board but it felt very crowded. This was our second post-pandemic cruise. The first one was only about 35% capacity. This one felt completely full. The lines were long for the Flow Rider and it was hard to get show reservations. Windjammer was pretty crowded too. But overall we had a good time and the kids ...
