We have just returned from our first and last Virgin Voyage, on the Scarlet Lady. The reviews that we read prior to booking didn’t align with reality.
We are seasoned cruisers with having been on over 30 cruises with many different cruise lines. The reviews for Virgin were amazing, and the pictures of the ships showed them to be new and ultra-modern. We talked some non-cruising friends into ...
Beautiful ship but the service was terrible. Staff is not friendly and rude, restaurants always booked at times you want to eat even though you tried making reservations weeks before the cruise. My husband wanted a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese instead of American and they told him American and cheddar are the same - they only have one cheese. So which one is it??! No one at the bar during the ...
To start, they did not have regular sprite on the entire boat, we had to call the manager to get us the sprite, the food was super bad, poorly prepared, it was always cold, many people got sick to the stomach, they had no variety at all, the staff they do not know how to prepare drinks from the bar, the boat has an italian concept and they do not even know how to prepare pizzas.
The customer ...
We tried to make the most of it! The ship headed right into a tropical storm so one of our stops we stayed on. Half the people were sick on the boat. The 8 hot tubs were always closed, we got into 2 shows because they were always full, the hallways were always crowded. The lay out was horrible and the elevators were slow ( I did get my steps in)the had lots and lots of stairs. Seemed like ...
Our luggage was delivered 3 days late and was left in Miami bc delta was delayed 5 hours and if we had waited for our luggage the cruise was going to leave us, and it wasn’t there fault.
We got stuff stolen and they wouldn’t look at the camera bc it wasn’t “ valuable” enough for them to care
Food is horrible, there is hardly anything to do
I don’t not recommend this trip to anyone! ...
Only cruise I have been on. NEVER AGAIN! Crowds everywhere. Lines for everything. Loud music or crowd noise, no matter where you go. Hard to find any place to carry on a conversation. Buffet food was just OK but the sit down restrauant was very good. We had an inside room. It was nice but quite small. Everything is very glitzy and modern looking. The environment is very much based on using the MSc ...
My mother and I booked this cruise for my handicapped sister to enjoy.
It was the K-Love cruise and I will say that the K-love staff and performers were the only positive experience.
Everything else was absolutely awful.
The staff was rude, aggressive, entirely unhelpful, and acted as though asking for a water was an inconvenience.
The only place with free water was the ...
Terrible.
First cruise on MSC (have used Royal in the past) This will be my last cruise on MSC. not enough chairs by any of the polls for all guest. Buffet is always extremely crowded. People are rude, pushy, and cut in line. Food is bland and usually the same with a variations. Thankful they had a salad station. Pizza was good. Dinners were not good. Even the gala night the filet was over ...
This was a bad cruise experience to say the least. The crew was friendly and kind but it was painfully evident they were under staffed on a sold out cruise. We have cruised with Carnival before and this cruise was poorly planned and executed. 30+ minute wait in the buffet lines over and over, poor choices and mediocre food. We waited over an hour for our anytime dining (not at out convenience) ...
The food was terrible in all of the dining we did and the food is usually our favorite part, not this time. Everything was less than mediocre including the fine dining evenings. The ship was incredibly overcrowded. We had to FIGHT to find a table at the buffet and then fight to get a plate of food. It was also impossible to find seating on the upper decks, so we had to take our deck food down to ...
