It's been 9 years since our last cruise and we booked this cruise sort of last minute. We were limited to one set of dates so I looked at a few different vacation options and ultimately opted for this cruise because I found a good deal on a balcony room - which we've never had before. I was also excited because this would be the largest ship we ever cruised on and never cruised on an "Oasis" class ...
Service
We always have excellent service from room stewards, dining room staff, and other crew members on Royal Caribbean. They are friendly and leave a genuine impression that they are trying to give you a great vacation experience. We had only one miscommunication regarding changing our dining time, which they were able to fix without any issue. Some of the crew doesn't speak the very best ...
This was a very enjoyable cruise and our first on MSC Seascape. I have read the reviews here but we very much enjoyed ourselves. This is even with the loss of the engine which happened midway through the cruise! We found MSC to be overly accommodating with this hiccup and we very much felt taken care of.
The embarking process was so easy. Zipped right thru and was onboard in no time.

This was an amazing experience. We paid for a mega rockstar suite. It is worth every penny. The food is so good. Our favorite was The Wake and Pink Agave. Lunch and breakfast at the Galley. The service was amazing. Everyone is so nice. We saw one show and it was new with dinner . The show was great but the food this time was just O.K. Bimini was a waste of time. The food at the club was OK but not ...
I was not as enchanted by the Symphony of the Seas this time. We had been on it in early 2020 before the cruise industry was shut down, so this was our second time on the ship.
We started the cruise on a Saturday, and on Wednesday I became violently ill with norovirus. Our friends, who had gone on the cruise with us, also became sick, as did some others I spoke with. I have cruised for many ...
Booked this cruise with my sister to celebrate her 50th BD since our original plans were canceled in 2020. I am platinum and my sisters first cruise.
Embarkment was easy, appointment was 10am and boarding A01, arrived at 9:45am and walked right in quickly to lounge and on ship 10:45am.
As platinum, we can go right to room, get our keys and luggage should arrive quickly.
Room not ready, ...
This was a last minute cruise for my mom 83 years old, and I, 57. Cruise was fine, no real issues. Even though we had anytime dining, we never ate in the dining room. The same items were available in the buffet, and the food was fine. Not a fan of the Pizza, not much sauce and crust was like cardboard. Delicious sandwiches in the Deli area. Casino did not treat me well till the last two nights. ...
We decided to try VL after reading other reviews and the overall description of the ship.
Our embark was seamless as was disembark. Capacity was right at 30 percent so I'm sure our experience would be a little different if at near or full capacity.
Cabin was midship deck 11 Wonderful location. It was day 3 of 8 before we saw another person on our hallway. We liked the layout overall ...
Had a fun weekend cruise, our first with MSC. Ship was full. Considering the price, it was def worth it, despite the long list of ’con’s below.
pros:
- Easy, quick embarkation and disembarkation
- The kids club was the best we’ve seen (out of several cruise lines). Really fun activities for the kiddos.
- Main dining room food was excellent and tasty.
- Ocean Cay was great.
- We ...
This was my 19th cruise and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve been on.
Starting when we got on and our stateroom was disgusting. The walls had marks all over them, the towels looked used. Asked guest services to have someone come, no one did for 4 hours. Then I asked again, and again. And it finally got done.
The bars- every bar was understaffed and the staff they had was honestly ...
