Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

We always choose Carnival and will continue to do so. We really enjoy at Conquest class of ship especially the Glory and being spring it was time for our annual back to back cruises. The service in the dinning room was outstanding and our room steward was also outstanding. We enjoy spending time on the lido deck on days at sea and had enough to keep us busy. Nights consisted of theater shows, ...

Exceeded expectations after reading negative reviews

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

We chose the MSC Seaside because we wanted to try cruising with a different company and we were excited about Seaside being a new ship. The price point was also way more affordable than a RC cruise which we were also considering. We were quite nervous in the weeks leading up to our cruise as there were a lot of negative reviews. We are happy to report however that we (husband, myself, boys 9 & ...

MS Seaside Rearside - nice but locked in and can't look forward anywhere?

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

PROBLEM: MSC Seaside "Rearside" - passengers can't go to the bow [front of the ship] anywhere to watch cruising out of a port, into a port, where we sail by islands, or on open seas just to look forward? That is a design FLAW - like driving a car with covered windshield and you don't see where you go? Makes you feel sick! They falsely advertise "amazing 360º boardwalk" - only 180º. I have done 19 ...

Combined the best and worst of the mainstream cruise lines

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

This is about our 100th cruise. We have sailed all the mainstream lines and a few of the luxury ones. We decided to try the Seaside as the price was great and we had been on the Divina, and other than mediocre service, enjoyed it. The Seaside is a beautiful ship, but for some reason, they did not have a library - just a few books in various languages that previous passengers left. They ...

The first time going on a cruise was a good experience. the embarkation and debarkation process was not bad at all compared to things i have heard from others about norwegian and different cruise lines. the food on the ship is amazing! from the garden cafe (buffet) to the specialty restaurants we have no complaints on the food! the common areas were very nice and well kept. we did not like ...

It was a very nice cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

It was my 26th cruise. I've cruised (in the order from worst to best) with Costa, Holland America, Carnival, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity. From my point of view, this cruise would fit in my list between Carnival and Princess. This review is for people who are considering cruising on this ship. It was a very nice cruise, but I'll start with several things that I didn't like. 1. ...

Better Than I Thought It Would Be

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Seaside

Embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and fast. The cabins are much smaller and the bathroom was extremely small. This are not fit for the American market. It was easier than I thought to get around as well. The ship is beautiful! The best person to get at the photo desk is Ligia Fasce, she is the photo host and is the most efficient person there. They cannot accommodate over 5,000 ...

Late booking but fun cruise.

Well, my employees told me I needed a vacation and my wife's birthday was coming up. So I booked this only about a month out. Found a good deal on a Porthole cabin, and then contacted my travel agent. He was able to save me a couple of bucks on the fare (really, just $2 per person, but cheaper is always better.) Also this made our Platinum Cruise and also gave us a chance to visit with ...

The NCL Escape was worth the money. Our balcony cabin was all we expected and then some (larger shower and more space) ....Bed was comfortable and well lit! Balcony is always enjoyable. Entertainment, especially IN-OVATION (a wonderful singing group) engaging the audience and the sound was incredible. Food in all venues was excellent, with all wait staff ready and willing to be of ...

Embarkation and disembarkation was great because we carried our own luggage of the ship. The price of the cruise was good. Been on this ship once before two years ago. Food could be better at free restaurants. Will wait for newer ship for next trip. They are holding my money for one future trip. It was during spring break many college students on ship. Rather go at a different time. Cabin ...
