Overall the Escape was very nice, and the crew is extremely dedicated to customer satisfaction. The buffet food was very good and there was a lot of choice in what to eat at each meal. Really nice cruise that with just a few tweaks (suggestions to NCL at end) would've been even better.
Smooth as silk transport, 11am in Miami, easy transfer to pier, then onboard by 1pm. Directly we headed for the crowded buffet, delicious and comprehensively appointed: basil pasta, salad, turkey parmesan, bratwurst, steak and a chocolate desert. And that was just my load.

Overall, this was the best cruise I have taken so far with Carnival (my 3rd one). This has mostly to do with the amazing ports that this sailing visited. I had an amazing time in the Dominican Republic and Grand Turk was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life.

We are a a family of 4 with a 10 year old and 13 year boys. My 10 year old enjoyed the "dolphin" club and my 13 year old loved the teen club. The top deck activities were perfect for "hanging out" while my husband and I enjoyed all of the show, stores and games inside the ship.
