The entire experience was different in a good way. No cruise director and 10,000 announcements, no kids, no lines, etc. A pleasant change! Made to order food! No Buffets! I have a few things I would like to bring to attention. Only 1 adult pool for about 3000 adults so crowded while swimming. You have to pay a service charge fee PER PERSON in each room 20$ a day. We chose VV because of the no kids aspect. We had a blast. Food was mostly great, cabin was great. Embarkation and debarkation were a BREEZE. We have been on 5 prior cruises with Carnival. This was our first time with Norwegian. The biggest difference between Carnival and this NCL Sky was the quality of the food and the age of the passengers. Carnival seemed to have a younger crowd, while NCL seemed to have older families and a handful of children. In our opinion, NCL's food was higher quality and we did not tire of the choices.
