First time with Norwegian, following recommendations for this cruise line online and YouTube . To start , the app, service , and debarkation were excellent. I went with no expectations, the experience was flat, nothing special, and more of the same. The food was ok, we had a dining package and tried the French Bistro that was disappointing, menu was limited, the only real French flavor was the ...
My wife and I this was our first cruise and we decided to choose the Scarlet Lady. There were a few things that really need changing for them to compete with the cruise lines that have beefed doing this for some time. It started with the room not thoroughly cleaned, we had to wait for them to come back and redo the room. The onboard technology that controls your cabin and tv, did not work until ...
We book this cruise for my wife’s birthday. Some of the shows were setup for the LBGT community. For that reason I can’t recommend any of my friends to take this cruise. The food was fair, but I think their need to be more options for dining. The Korean barbecue wasn’t what I’m use to, the food was bland. The Test Kitchen was good, but I like to see the menu before I make a reservation so I can ...
To put it simply, do not choose MSC as the company you cruise with. I typically never review but I feel like this cruise has way too many negatives to not at least say something to warn others. First, once on board we of course have to go through the safety protocols. This was the most annoying and chaotic safety explanation ever. They made all guests go to their rooms to watch the video on the TV ...
My husband and I chose this cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary because it was adults only which sounded fantastic! Bottom line, there were some things we liked about the cruise and others that we did not.
Things we disliked:
- had to make a reservation for dinner at all of the restaurants besides the Galley. All of the reservations were booked and the restaurant sizes were small.
- ...
A friend planned this cruise for a group of 8. I have cruised more than 40 times on various cruise lines (royal, ncl, carnival, celebrity). This company would definitely rank at the bottom of the barrel. The rooms were smaller than most. They had a young energetic staff but very poor customer service. I’m not a picky eater and love everything but liver, but across the board the food was a ...
We did a previous MSc cruise on the Divina and loved it. While we did not do the yacht club we were impressed with the level of service we received. We decided to do Seascape and did the yacht club. We have not been impressed with the service and have had better service on other cruises for less money. We asked for waffles for breakfast in the yacht club and were told the waffle iron was broken- ...
We had some good experiences with RC but this ships flow and design was horrible. The pool deck is choppy and hard to get around. The bars are packed and take a long time to get walk to and get a drink. No entertainment no large screens no live band and again very hard to get around unlike navigator of the seas. Food is horrible but isn't it always? If your expecting good food don't cruise or only ...
Don't believe the hype or Youtubers! During our recent maritime voyage aboard Virgin Voyages from July 7 to July 12, 2023. First and foremost, the quality of the food on board was fair, meeting basic expectations. The meals had creativity, variety, and most importantly, taste. The options provided were imaginative and often executed well, leaving us satisfied with each dining experience except for ...
We just finished our first Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady cruise. We did have a good time and over all the cruise staff was amazing and we loved two of their shows, but we won’t sail on a Virgin cruise again.
The food was just ok, even in the nice restaurants, but a huge problem is that we didn’t get to do a lot of what we wanted to do on the ship. They make you sign up for shows, events, ...
