This is the worst vacation i have ever taken, It was a nightmare that I will never forget. The ship is so old and smells so bad. They should be embarrassed that they sell this to people who spend their hard earned money. The food is low quality and disgusting. The service is ok as they are robots and do and say every thing their boss tells them to like a recording. EVERYTHING costs money and is terribly expensive. They look us in the middle of the ocean close to the HURRICANE CAT 4. The ship was rocking back and forth and we didn't sleep for 3 nights. They kept telling us everything is normal and we will be heading to the Bahamas normally (even though we are not stupid and knew there was a hurricane there). They DECEIVED us and left us at sea till Sunday ( day 3 of the cruise). Saturday they were supposed to go to coco kay but instead left us at sea. They are too cheap to take us to mexico or anywhere else because it will cost them money. THIS CRUISE IS ALL ABOUT MONEY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE AT ALL. I saved for so many years to go on a vacation after 10 years of not taking one and this is what i get. I am so disappointed and upset I cant even put it into words. The whole cruise the ship was rocking and we did not know if we would get home alive. The ship is dirty and old. very smelly. I read the bad reviews here but i did not belive them. I MADE A BIG MISTAKE. The shows were a horrible excuse for entertainment. They really went down in all areas. Read Less

My first and last cruise. My stateroom was 1604- level 6 in front of the ship. My travel agent put in for a room change to the middle, the request was done & new stateroom assigned. When I printed the luggage tags they were for the original room. Travel agent spent over 2 1/2 hours on the phone trying to get resolved. They said they see the change but it was never completed. Sorry the ship is full and wanted to give me 6 chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. I asked for 1-2 comp days for the premium drink package that I paid $455 for. They refused. 1st night at dinner, our assigned table was with 2 older couples that didn't speak English. The food was horrible. The chef came out and I told him about my meal but they did nothing. We never went back. The pizza shop left out raw pizzas and didn't cook them enough, had to ask to cook more every time. Excursions are very expensive and not worth it. The CAT 4 hurricane was coming so we traveled out at sea somewhere for a day and a half and missed the Coco Cay Island stop. We didn't get to snorkel or go on the party boat but that was out of their hands. I agree with their decision regarding safety of the ship and guests. Most music entertainment was in Spanish which was disappointing as we booked the trip in America. There were guests from 66 different countries aboard and most were very rude. The best things were the Flag of the Countries show, the comedian and adult game shows. The crew members were pleasant and our steward was wonderful.. Read Less

Well, they don't believe in ADA laws or at the minimum are very noncompliant. They have no problem moving rooms on people without notification. I had to bring it to their attention (at different times) that there was no shower gel (the first day on board so they didn't bother to check such things) and more Kleenex was needed (after leaving the empty box in plain sight). The closer was unusable as the door hinges were broken ( finally fixed on last day of cruise). The food was nothing to write home about nor was the food service - they seemed more interested in cleaning up after people left than serving them. The only true bright spot of this cruise was (excluding our great friends we were traveling with) was one young lady on the shore excursion crew. Read Less

This ship is extremely small and has limited amenities. This was the absolute worst food and food choices. We never saw our room steward and the room was never really made up well. The only Redeeming quality was that all the staff you encountered spoke and were friendly. We had the all inclusive alcohol package which was nice and the private island was the highlight of the cruise. We usually cruise with Carnival or Royal Caribbean and thought we would try Norwegian but we will not make that mistake again. Read Less

Sailed Sept 11 on Norwegian Sky. Will never do Norwegian again. The food was horrible. Whether it was the dining rooms or the buffet. The food selection was unimaginative. Poorly prepared. Bland. Under cooked or over cooked. No quality control. I doubt the chef or staff tasted what they were putting out there. Barely replenished in a timely manner. I saw plenty of people sending their food back in hopes of the other options being better. The buffet upstairs, not a single time did any one offer to re-fill our drinks. Which they do on Carnival. They do no prep time. If the cheese cubes are gone, they then after there were three cubes left they decide it was time to start cutting more, having you wait 5+ minutes. The serving dishes would have so little food in them and would be scraps but they wouldn't replenish. Burgers were dry, thin and tasteless. The eggs were always runny yet the potatoes were under cooked, little hard cubes of raw potatoes. One afternoon on the pool deck they offered steak on the grill. Well they should have sliced one open prior to serving. It was so completely raw on the inside that it was purple in color. These are just a few of the many problems that Norwegian has with there Food Service and Quality. Oh yea, the bed was so warped and old I had to sleep on top of a pillow just to fill in the huge dip in the middle of the mattress. Carnival Cruise line has great food and great service and costs less than Norwegian. I will not make that mistake again. Read Less

The customer service was terrible. I had to re-direct several staff members on their rudeness and lack of customer services. Also my room was nasty. Upon my arrival i called guest services because there was hair all over my sheets and in my shower. If my room was cleaned before my arrival there's no explanation for the hair in my shower or bed. Ewww, I got to the point where i would mark my sheets just to make sure they were being changed. Lastly, the ship was having maintenance done my entire trip. Which mean there was no such thing as good sleep on my vacation. I complained to guest service my first day and they just brushed it off. I let it go due to my daughter wanting to explore the ship. On the third night i couldn't take it no more, so i called guess services again. They did offer to change my room later that night however that was pointless because i had less than 12 hours left. The only department with great customer service was the spa. everyone there was very helpful and nice. Read Less

The overall experience would have been better if only the director of the cruise would have followed up and resolved the complaints I brought to his attention in person. It was a big disappointment that nothing was done and no action was taken. My first and last experience on that cruise line. The complaints were about the mix up of reservations in restaurants and the delay of taking the orders and bringing the food. Failure of giving the guests important information during the off shore excursions. For example taking id when getting of the ship along with the id cruise card. We were told that all what we needed was the ship cards which was not the case. The excursions are very expensive and not well organized. People would cut in line and board the bus before the people who have been waiting for a long time. No one to organize that matter. Extremely small cabins. Read Less

When I plan a vacation I invest a lot of time and effort.. I look at reviews I research prices. This time was not different.. I knew this was an older ship, I knew we would overnight in Nassau. I have booked cruises on other carriers on ships just as old or older. The safety procedures.. which I have done on the 5 other cruises I have been on was weird.. we were taken to the night club (our muster station) and the British crew member refused to talk until it was complete silence.. if someone shifted in their seat or coughed or a baby whimpered she stopped and started all over again. She continually threatened us that she had no problem doing it all over again to punish us for not paying attention!! REALLY?? was she kidding? then when they finally deemed us quiet enough they showed us the procedures with the life vests... since there is no video screen and she was the only one with the mike... if you were in the back of the room you couldn't hear or see anything. so really shutting us up and threatening to re do it was completely futile since half the people couldn't see the exercise! This ship was disappointing to say the least. The food was awful. The choices in the dining room were poor. One option for vegans.. Indian Rice and Lentils.. Seriously??? thats all you can come up with ? For the vegetarians.. there is fish.. fish that was stinky and overcooked. The cutlery was tarnished (blackened) the glasses had lipstick stains, the servers barely able to communicate in English. It was a challenge to have dinner. By the 3rd night I was exhausted just trying to explain what I wanted!!! HELLO ROSETTA STONE!!! If I can post a picture of the pool on the 3 days we were on this ship I am certain that every safety law was broken repeatedly. wall to wall people , people jumping in over people.. it was just plain hazardous! The entertainment on the cruise .. below grade! why am I watching 3 days of shows displaying 60's music? With singers who can barely carry a tune? American Idol would not have taken them. A comedy show that we had to wait til after 11 to watch.. when after all day in the sun who can keep their eyes open. Lets not even discuss the unavailable Cruise Director. Apart from hearing him talk to us every morning about stupidities.. we never saw him! there was one activity by the pool (hairy chest comp) that he wasn't there for. Then an announcement encouraging us to make a donation to St. Jude (we did.. a very worthy cause). He spoke for 8 minutes on the importance of this charity.. how close it was to his heart. how important it was to him and to others and he wasn't even there to take the donations or to participate in the giveaway of the charity!!! what the hell??? Why talk and talk about how important it is to you and how dear it is to your heart and you aren't even there??? wow! Needless to say we were very disappointed.. for the amount we paid for this 3 day cruise , We would have been better off spending it at a 5 star hotel in Miami. I will think twice before booking with Carnival again. Read Less

I learned to be loyal to Carnival Cruise lines! On this ship there were only two pools which could only accommodate about 50 people per pool and the first two days the right pool was closed, then both pools were closed for a time then the right opened and the left pool was closed for the remainder of the trip. It was July on the ocean near Florida! You need a pool to cool off in that heat!! Then my son is walking down the corridor with his hand on the railing and the whole railing fell off! We paid for the soda program where you get a cup for like, I think it was $30 each and fill it with soda throughout the trip. The soda machine was either empty or out of order for most of the trip so I paid $60 (my son and I each got the soda deal) for about 5 16 oz sodas! That is ridiculous! And then the cabin...GAWD the cabin! It was so small that only 1 person could stand in the room at a time and there was nowhere to store the luggage so it was piled on our beds during the day and piled in the middle of the tiny walkway when we slept. That made for a fun "bathroom in the middle of the night" experience! On our last cruise with Carnival I booked the very smallest cabin on the whole ship for my mother and son and it was large enough that my mom could get around the room in her wheelchair and not get stuck anywhere, plenty of room for their luggage and storage/closet space. Food was mediocre at best and even when you tip they charge a tip for room service which is supposedly free. When we went to the private island, there was a long wait to get back on the ship and there was no fresh water for drinking anywhere. When we mentioned that several people were showing signs of dehydration to a medical worker she said it wasn't her job to fill the water barrels and didn't offer to find someone who could. In general, this ship sucked and the experience was terrible! Key West Port is definitely more for adults, not much for kids to do, private island port was fun but its just a beach play time, no excursions or anything available, Nassau port was ok but pricey to do anything besides shop or go to the beach. My son had a lot more fun in Florida the ten days we spent there after the cruise than on the cruise itself. They had a kids' program but every time we went there it was closed. Would definitely never cruise with Royal Caribbean again and I'm so glad this wasn't my first cruise or it probably would've put me off cruising altogether! I have learned my lesson and I will only ever cruise with Carnival again! Read Less

It appears that NCL has set a new low standard that Carnival can only hope to achieve. We have sailed NCL over 8 times previously (last being 2 years ago). Embarkation was just the start of it. We were directed to the end of a long line of young girls and waited for over 20 minutes with no movement. I finally went to the main entrance and asked one of the six NCL employees "milling around" if that was the correct line for general boarding. He stated that no, this was the line. i informed him that there were numerous families at the end of the "tour group line" and should be directed here istead. He then reluctantly walked over to inform the families that they were in the wrong line. No apologies. Apparently there has been a shift in the business model. It seems that they have changed their model complete with cheap cruises, watered down booze, bad service, poor food, and dull ports of call in order to compete with the Carnival crowd. Suffice to say the "buckets of beer" were flowing! Food was especially disappointing. We ate in each of the specialty resteraunts every night and were disapponted "every night". Recommend going with Celebrity or Princess now. Read Less

It's really sad that we have anything negative to say about our honeymoon/first cruise. The only crew members that could speak understandable fluent English or Spanish were the higher rank people that never spoke to the guest anyway. All the people we had to order from or talk to at guest services couldn't undeestand our order at the specialty resturants and front desk. My husband ordered a well done steak and got a rare steak. When he told the waiter it wasn't cooked enough for him the guy couldn't understand and insisted the steak was "lovley". It went to waste. In the buffet they served hamburgers and hot dogs day and night, for breakfast they had a lot of Mexican things. They did have bacon but it was in tiny broken pieces that the big tongs couldnt pick up. I'll just say, If you are southern and you like sweet tea and other everyday things we are used to don't get on a ncl ship! They cater to foreign and northern people. Every time a crew member heard our accents they had a rude joke. They could speak good enough to make rude jokes about our voices but not good enough to understand what we wanted to order. The food was blah even in the speciality resturants i came back skinner then I was when I got on the ship. As soon as we got off we headed to redlobster and i stuffed my face and drank sweet tea. We booked a shore excursion for each day since we were not familure with The islands. We spent most of our time waiting on the shuttles to take us to the excursions. For the beach hideaway we were 2 hrs late gettin there. We wasted our hotel trying to get to and from the ship. At atlantis we paid to be able to see the aquarium. In reality we could have saved a ton of money if we would have just gotten general admission bc it was open no one was standing there looking at what color wrist band people had on. People with the basic bracelets were getting to go down the water slides. If we ever cruise again it will not be on the sky or any other ncl ship. I will say the captain was fun and made us laugh and their new cruise director Tyler was awesome and made being on the ship better. He hosted shows that we went to every nignt and he is going a great Job running all the game and comedy shows. That was the best part of the cruise. Read Less

I went on Norwegian before and loved it. But this last cruise was a horrible experience. First they didn't initially give me the $25 onboard credit that was offered to me at time of purchase. They had to call corporate to get my credit. Then they only had one club and play one style music the entire time. at least eight people requested new music, and I personally went to request a song and a happy birthday shout out to my boyfriend and the DJ straight up told me that he doesn't do requests. (I tried to find a manager and no one even the wait staff would get one for me) As much money as we paid for this cruise and NO ONE was dancing and the DJ would change music. It was offensive. They only played latin/house music. Which is fine for a few songs but it got very annoying. Then I went to discuss my account at the end of the cruise and they over charged my card. I gave them a $100 credit limit amount and they charged it up to $135 before they cut it off which caused charges for my to my credit card company, then they double charged my boyfriends credit card. And still No ONE addressed the entertainment/ DJ issue. Horrible customer service. Many of the staff didn't speak English well enough to communicate an issue effectively. Read Less

I've previously been on a Carnival cruise, and had a decent experience- good, friendly service, overall good food, a clean room with no issues in it. The cheaper Carnival cruises all seem to be budget cruises- small rooms, lack of amenities in comparison to other cruise lines, less food options, and small/few pools. But this trip was particularly bad. Though budget, what I got for the cost was not even worth it. The food in the sit-down dining and buffet were both bad. Sit-down downing, we waited an hour and a half at our table for our entrees. Bread came after our appetizers, which took about 30 minutes. Bar service did not make it to us, so we never got drinks at dinner. In the buffet, the wait time was shorter in the lines but the food was often cold and lacked flavor even more than the sit-down dining did. Lines were long, tables were often dirty. Our room was small, as expected. We slept 4 in a room, and they did not put the upper bunks away during the day on some occasions, leaving us with no seating below. Our belongings were moved that did not need to be, yet we weren't given clean drinking glasses. Items in the bathroom were never refilled. Our AC also made a lot of noise. Service was generally rude and unhelpful. We had some great people, but were shocked by how many employees were blatantly rude. Servers did not greet tables, but rather just walked up and asked you to order, and would get upset if we weren't ready. Staff in the shopping area were aggressive. I was sorely disappointed. We only watched 1 comedy show and it was awful, so we did not watch the others. The other shows were decent. There is 1 pool on the entire ship- for over 2000 people. It gets absolutely packed. there are 2 jacuzzis there as well, which were constantly full. The only way to get near the pool was to get there early. There are a good number of bars. Some drinks were tasty, but all were overpriced. Generally $6 hard ciders/beers/hard lemonades. $10 for martinis, $9 for other cocktails. Embarkation went smoothly, disembarkation was okay. Travel between the ship and Half Moon Cay was horrible. We waited in a long line, and it took almost an hour to get off the ferry onto the boat because they were so disorganized. I felt that the cruise was a waste of money. I enjoyed my time in Nassau, but could've just taken a trip there. Half Moon Cay has very little to see or do, and everything costs extra- umbrellas are $20, bottles of water, everything. I'd recommend skipping this cruise. Read Less

We have been on several with other cruise lines, but this was by far the worse. It was dirty, with vomit on the in our stateroom hallway, which was there most of the day. The service was very very slow with little to choose from. It was like spring break with many drunk boys and girls diving in the pools and trying to hook up. Our itinerary was changed from first day Bahamas and second day their private island, to the reverse. We had a mandatory day at sea because we were told that it was unsafe to go to the island but there were no activities planned for that day. Took this cruise for my sister in laws bachelorette party. I have been on many cruises through carnival and Royal Caribbean and had very high expectations for my first Norwegian cruise. The bartenders and servers are very rude and do not make you feel welcome. I was completely ignored every time I said "Hello" and/or "Thank you". When I asked the bartender for a drink after I was ignored for about 10 minutes I got the "hold on" finger in my face by him. The pool is VERY VERY SMALL and standard rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL. Entertainment on the ship was ok... However, when I go on a cruise to the Bahamas I do not want hear ONLY Latin music. Another downside to this cruise was being misled about the ultimate beverage package. When we booked our cruise we were told we had the option to pay $65.00 per day as an "all inclusive" for alcoholic beverages. We were told we did not have to pay for the entire cruise and were able to pick and choose the days we wanted the package. Once we got on the cruise to purchase the package, we were told the package was ONLY for the entire length of the cruise and had to pay $226.00. BOTTLED WATER, SODAS, COFFEES, CHAMPAGNE & REDBULL WERE NOT INCLUDED IN PACKAGE. Wifi: DO NOT PAY $.95 per minute for WIFI. I probably sent 5 text messages and made four to five 30 second phone calls to my fiancé via FaceTime and was charged $115.00 at the end of the cruise. * I am not one to complain like this but feel it is necessary to share my experience. If I write everything about this horrible cruise it will never end so only a few of the terrible things that happen and all parents then can make their own choice. First of all when we got in the elevator was broken, then my 10 year old want it to participate in the Kids activities and the Kids Camp was close for renovation so they put all the Kids in the Stripes club and my daughter told it was the "most boring" thing. Then around 10:30 p.m. I was walking with my daughter to take her to the Arcade which is on deck 9, on the hallway by the casino you can smell MARIJUANA even my daughter told me " Mom smells like something is burning" obviously she doesn't know the smell she is only 10 for GOD'S SAKE.......... Then at the Arcade half of the games we're not working. When I booked this cruise they told me it was kid's friendly, Honestly I will not recommend this cruise for KIDS so be aware parents, too many drunk people, drugs and nothing much for them. Then the food all the utensils, napkins and cups they smell like GREASE it was disgusting.........Anyway the list goes on and on and on I will not recommend this cruise for Families that would like to go on a Cruise to spend Family quality time. Save your money and go on DISNEY CRUISE which is one of our favorite and Royal Caribbean they have better and newer boats. On the Ecstassy I felt like I was in a Ferry not a cruise, old, dingy and the rooms are so tiny and we always have balconies this room was like a match box with a balcony attached. Me and three other people booked this cruise to Key West for my Birthday. I was going to pick Carnival but they stopped in Key West for less time. I would of never booked this cruise if the boat was not going to Key West! The boat broke down and all the Captain said is " we are a LITTLE sorry about not getting to Key West" They did not deliver as promise and thought it was ok to give me an on-board credit of less than 10% of the cost of the cruise. This boat is too small and boring to be stuck at sea for as long as we were. The pool was packed and no beach chairs, worst cruise of my life!!!! The company does not seem to care that they ruined my 50th birthday,,,,,,we had friends and family waiting for us in Key West to celebrate. If only the company would have made some attempt to right this wrong then we could of moved on and made the best of it! So just know if you book with Royal Caribbean and don't make your port of call the will say " well actually our cruise is the whole package and sometimes we don't make the port but at least you can enjoy all the amenities and food" They claimed that they had an oil leak and Key West would not let them into the Dock due to ENVIROMENTAL CONCERNS, but yet they kept us at sea for another 34 hours until our actually debarkation time. I guess it is ok to leak oil as long as you are not too close to land!!! Staff onboard mentioned to us is not uncommon of the Ship to miss a port of call and that the attitude is always the same "oh well'. We have taken 8 cruses over the last 15 years. This ship has been the worst I have been on. It is poorly maintained. Many leaks throughout the ship, windows are really dirty. We were in a room that had extremely strong spicy smells from the kitchen. The smell was so strong I left with a sinus infection. If your looking for good food on the Sunshine, keep looking. The food was really bad. We ended up loosing weight on this trip. If you like greasy and fast food type you will then enjoy the slop they serve on this ship. Does it remind you of Furr's YES We took a 4 h.r excursion that only lasted 2 hrs. The reason is because Carnival's crew took 1.5 hrs just getting us ready to get off the ship then there was a wait to transfer us to our excursion. Man that excursion was the most expensive excursion carnival offered. What a waste of time and money. I will never recommend this ship for the Guest Service type of service with this ship. It was our first family cruise. We were a group of 7, with 3 young kids, and my parents. Unfortunately, it was the worst vacation experience we've ever had. First of all, not RCL's fault, the weather was bad. We were only able to get off the ship at Nassau. The other two ports, we were not allowed to go due to the wind (its own island and Key West). Keep in mind, other cruise lines sailing at the same time were able to make it to Key West. Not sure what it was about, anyway, we were bored to death. Then the shore excursion in Nassau was badly organized. We divided into two groups. DH took older kids to Atlantis Aqua Adventure, and I stayed with the baby and my parents for an Atlantis land tour. The Aqua group left earlier, but our group waited under the sun outside till last shuttle (more than 2 hrs). By then, everybody had left, and we were the only people left there and nobody even talked to us about it. We could took a taxi to go by ourselves if we knew it in advance, and pay much lower gate price at Atlantis by ourselves instead of booking through the cruise service. The worst was, even we booked the tour, nobody took care of us. With another group of seniors, we had to talk to the people at Atlantis about our tour and they didn't get the booking, had no idea, and had to arrange it then. Even though, the ship said we could be ashore till 11 pm, we were informed that the last shuttle back was 5 pm, then changed to 4 pm. We had to stay in the ship till 11 pm without activities. The food for the first day was OK. But it got worse and worse. We really like the sushi bar in buffet area for the first day. But for the last two days, the sushi was just a piece of cucumber on rice. It was so bad, the fruit and salad were not fresh anymore. My mom got sick because of the unfresh fruit. There were not enough activities on board, at least not very kid friendly. It was super cold to use the pool. There was nothing else to do during the day. Well, they did arrange the cake tasting during one of two days that we had to stay on board. And one night was a talk show. Who would expect a 6-year old kid enjoy the talk show? To give it an end, the customer service was the worst I have ever talked to. I found out that I didn't get the onboard credit promised during booking, and called (suggested by the cruise staff) after we got off. The representative found out the promotion advertised when booking and promised to give the credit back. But his manager refused to do so, void all credits we should have, and hang up on us. It was my decision to go with Royal Caribbean based on some good reviews, and I was really regret about it. My suggestion is, go to other cruise lines: Disney, Princess, Holland American for your Caribbean cruise, or go cheaper to other lines. Read Less

We went on the valentine day cruise as and alternative to candy and flowers, etc thinking we would have a better time cruising boy were we wrong embarking was not so bad although the rooms were not ready until 4pm our bags did not show up until 9pm and one was missing, we finally found found it at the reception desk at 1130pm during this time there were 3 towel carts stacked in front of the door on the rm (I call and had them removed the carts) coming on the ship there was no music, bon voyage party or anything close to having fun. at night we tried to go the disco there was on Spanish music on deck Spanish music no blended music for everyone, the buffet were the same every day bland pasta and sandwiches, breakfast was no better no omelette stations and half cook bacon. What really tick me off was we dock on a Sunday in Nassau, did they not know that every thing was closed on sunday except the shops that canters to the ships that are dock, we had nothing to do except gamble at the Atlantis hotel, what a waste of time and on the ship gambling they had no way of identifying the premier gamblers, maybe to give free drinks to or inviting them back since they spent so much money trying to entertain themselves, I have to many stories to tell about this voyage that went wrong, Carnival Cruise line has it's faults but they do circles around MSC never again Read Less

Worst cruise / vacation ever!!! The food was nasty( lost 3lbs.) and you couldn't get food after 9:00pm, entertainment was so so. Only stopped at one port due to them saying it was too windy, ported in worse weather on other cruises. so we spent 2 days driving around the ocean with little to do. What a 20th anniversary trip. AFTER THIS CRUISE WE WILL NOT BE DOING ANY MORE, ALL INCLUSIVE IS THE WAY TO GO. THEY STILL CHARGED US FOR ALL PORT CHARGES and didn't offer anyone any discounts. Everyone on the barge was unhappy and was requesting refunds. Save your money and stay away from Royal Carribean if insisting on a cruise. The room was OK! Read Less

The MSC Divina is a huge disappointment! Not a cruise for Americans!! The Customer Service is horrible. None of the staff can speak or understand English fluently (including managers!) the food is disgusting ( on two different occasions I found hair in my food which was also served very cold!) I showed my plate to the waiter, he shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, then picked the hair out of my food and also stuck his finger in my food to see if it was cold. He told me to eat it and never offered a fresh plate!.. There is also a 15% service charge for tipping added to your bill, this is why I believe the Customer Service is so horrible, because they do not have to work hard or earn their tip it's automatically given to them. (Trust me I believe in tipping, as a salon owner and stylist I know first hand about tips! You have to smile, make conversation, and go out of your way to please the customer. There is also a $12.00 per person per day service charge that is given to the staff as tips! There was one waitress we found in the cigar bar- Kartika from Indonesia. This young lady was pleasant and if it wasn't for her I would have left the ship, even if I had to swim home I would have! It was that bad! I normally would not have wrote a bad review ( Momma always said if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!) sorry mom I had to let fellow Americans aware of this before they waste their hard earned money and time! Research research research before booking a cruise on the Divina! We learned a lesson the hard way! Hope this review will save someone money and help them find a cruise they can enjoy with friendly people, good food, and lots of fun! Good luck! P.s. Our luggage (which had my medicine inside) was lost. We were promised we would have it by 4:30 at the latest. No luggage-Again promised by 6:00 pm. No luggage at 6:00 pm another promise for 8:30 pm and again at 10:30 pm! Guess what, at midnight no luggage or medicine the staff didn't care or try to help find it! My husband and I had to search every floor and by 2:00am we found it outside another passengers door! The only thing MSC cares about is charging you money!! Period! Read Less

My friend who cruises often said I was going to have to be pulled down to Earth after my cruise, because I was going to have the time of my life and be treated like a princess. Well..she never cruised Norwegian. The food was awful, the staff treated me more like a serf than a princess, and I was more than happy to leave Miami for St. Louis when the cruise was done. My balcony cabin which was supposed to accommodate 3-4 was cramped--just for little 5'2"me. It smelled, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for 5 years. The only way to get onboard cash was at the casino ATM--$5/transaction. Unless you like to drink, smoke, gamble or watch cheesy shows--nothing interesting to do on the ship. Ok..to be fair and let you know I'm not a chronic complainer: The Bahamas were beautiful, and the Bahamian people friendly My cabin steward and one waitress in the Palace Dining Room DID treat me like a princess. The passengers were friendly, for the most part Read Less
