First thing that will take place (that will ruin your experience) will be the $250 dollar additional charge that will hit your bank account the moment you enter the ship. This is a big problem, due to having no knowledge that this amount of money will be automatically taken from your bank account beforehand.
Second thing that will ...
We decided to try Virgin since it was an adult only cruise. We do not have kids and have cruised other lines and kids seem to be running amuck, so this was a great option for us. The crew members were fabulous, great entertainment and the ship was very clean and modern. The beds and pillows sadly were hard as a rock and the food was too fancy and overcomplicated for our taste. Food is honestly ...
We sailed on Harmony last year at the same time. This year, we noticed significant downgrades in the quality of food, shows, and cleanliness. The buffet food was disgusting, not to mention that they served chicken every day. They no longer had a roast beef or seafood night. Dry chicken and pork every day, but cooked with different spices. They no longer had a decent gourmet selection of cheeses ...
We went for a quick little getaway. We ventured to Key West and their island. I haven’t been to Key West in many years and I have to say it was very awesome. Key West very clean and the people were great! Next we went to their island it was such a good relaxing day.
The downfalls for me, I like to go to the casino. Virgins casino only had one smoking section that hardly had any machines in it. ...
We chose this ship for all of the amenities it offered. It also has spacious cabins that can sleep 6 at an affordable price. With 4 kids in tow, this seemed like a great option. We were disappointed, however. The room needs more drawers and storage for those who use all 6 beds. My husband was unable to unpack his suitcase as there wasn’t enough room. The bathroom and shower had mold in various ...
I have been on 12 cruises now with all different lines. I went on this ship 2 times in 3 months because the first sailing was amazing. I went with my fiancé and another couple both times (we are ages 22-27). The first cruise was great, although the entertainment lacked BAD by the pool. There was no one doing contests or interacting which would’ve led to more drinks flowing. The food and drinks ...
I am giving Virgin an overall 3 rating because of several reasons. 1. It was my birthday so I was super excited and purchased a splash for your bash cruise package. When I arrived on the boat everything disappeared from the app letting me know that my package was purchased so I went to guest service to speak with someone and the first encounter I had was with a gentleman that over talked me ...
We chose this cruise as a family trip with multiple first time cruisers. This is not a ship I would have selected myself and I have no plans to sail on this ship again. I was super disappointed with the offerings on the ship. The “refurbishment” did not modernize the ship at all. We sailed in an ocean suite and were unimpressed by the decor or the condition of the balcony. There was also a weird ...
We picked this cruise based on price. Only $800 per person for 5 night cruise with three stops. The ship was OK. Our cabin was OK. The included food was alright-ish. Halfmoon Cay was lovely. The food for purchase was very good. The drinks were very good. The dancers were excellent. The bar staff was overworked and no longer able to fake a smile or happiness.
The passengers on this ship were ...
We cruise often and this was our first Virgin Voyage. What an exciting experience, there was so much to do and see. The pool party at Bimini was one of the best we've attended. Most of the food outlets were a wonderful experience. We did have a less than exceptional experience at Razzle Dazzle for our group dinner. Our service was slow, food was cold, orders were not complete and some of our party ...
