We chooses Allure of the seas based on the family activities and amenities and we were not disappointed, we were celebrating my niece’s 15th birthday and we were a group of 26 from babies to my father in law which is 92. We all had a great time. The ship is in great condition, enough pools and entertainment areas for kids and family, nice size cabins, we never felt crowded.

We have been on a few rides with royal, our 2nd big ship. Royal Staff was great. Now the bad, I have never been on a Royal ship with so many children, especially running around unsupervised late at night, running up and down the passageways in the Casino after 10PM. This was our 1st Oasis Class Ship and it was just "OK". We were in a Balcony Room on the 14th floor in the front of the ship. My wife and I have now gone on 5 Royal cruises in the past 10 years and have been on Freedom and Adventure of the Seas previously. We've also been on Norwegian and Celebrity. We really looked forward to going on this cruise but left feeling... "eh".

This ship has plenty to offer. There are lots of activities and nightly entertainment that will keep you busy. There is actually so much to do onboard that we wished that we had more than 2 sea days.
