This was our third cruise with Oceania. Once on Riveria and the other on Marina. Those two cruises were wonderful.
We were impressed by the quality of the foods in all of the restaurants and the friendliness of all staff.
The daily golf games were fun and interacting with the other passengers was encouraged.
When we returned home we were very satisfied and thought of when we would plan ...
This was my first cruise to Hawaii and the longest cruise I have been on. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable. Some don’t care for the medallion, but I find it so convenient, you have your arms full and approach your door, it unlocks, it does everything and more than the card does.
The entertainment was sadly lacking both in variety and what they offered. They had only ...
Let me say that this was not what I expected after all the money I spent to have a relaxing time. First, let me say that there should be a disclaimer to let people know that this line caters to senior citizens. I’m not knocking the elderly at all but less then 5% of the guest on this ship was under 50 years of age. For me and my opinion it was a nursing home at sea. Let me put it this way, the ...
I have always wanted to see the Islands, my daughter passed in December and her heritage is fraternal side is Hawaiian. The cruise started off at LA port we were with the wheelchairs as my sister has had 2 back surgery's and Knee replacement also can not feel her legs so anytime up slants is dangerous for her. While waiting were informed most people didn't need this help only used to get at front ...
My husband and I are in our late-30's/mid-40's, and we have been on 10+ cruises together. Our last cruise was in December 2019. This was our first post-Covid cruise. Also, our only other Celebrity cruise was back in 2015, and it was out of the Mediterranean. This was our first time taking a Celebrity cruise out of the States.
Pre-Cruise: We stayed two nights at an Airbnb in the Belmont Shore ...
I choose this cruise because of my 87 year old aunt, someone in her age group told her that they like Princess and that’s the one they use. There were issues from the time we made it to embarkment, it was a disaster the lines were wrapped around and issues with having enough porters to handle the luggage. Once aboard the ship, the steward assigned to our room introduced herself and I explained to ...
First off I must say the crew was wonderful. The finest ever and very nice.
We had sailed on Celebrity many times before Covid and really liked it. I especially remembered the warm welcome as they handed us a glass of champagne….but that was several years ago. Not anymore!
Embarkation was a mess. Very confusing. You had to drop your luggage off at the ship, then go to a different parking lot ...
I went on Oosterdam 2019 and had a fun trip but unfortunately the Zaandam did not come close. The ship was full of walkers and disabled vehicles, the ship was dirty and food mediocre. The ocean deck pool was empty and closed for the first 3 days, entertainment was awful and the ship VERY boring. I opted for an ocean view that was stuffy and very dated and had not been updated since ship was made. ...
Close by, my birthday and value was the reason for choosing this cruise to Cabo.
We have enjoyed this class of ship and Celebrity in general before- pre covid.Times have changed - the food was just terrible. It didn't make any difference where or when you ate, it was all the same problem.
Bottom line, it is clear they have cut the food budget. Think they were getting complaints at sea on ...
I went on this ship because it was the Star Trek cruise. I had been disappointed by the last 2 RCL cruises since COVID and this was about the same. I fear the next cruise I have scheduled in September on the Serenade of the Seas. If it wasn't with four other people in the family I would cancel it.
First let me say that the Star Trek part of the cruise rocked! I won't get into it here but I ...
