We have been on over 80 cruises and about 30 with Princess. We booked this because of the itinerary and that it had a glass dome over the pool. The pool area was not heated and we sat on the chaise lounges with our coats on. I will only comment on the things that Princess had control over.
The Good: Embarkation was probably one of the best we have encountered. Disembarkation was also the ...
The menu was terrible. Repeat dishes on multiple nights. Service was terrible. Had to ask cabin steward to clean mirrors not cleaned between cruises. Found bed last night with comforter pulled up and straightened but bed had not actually been made up. Had a tremendously rude head server in the dining room. Quote when she first came to the table we asked how are you she said "extremely busy" ...
There was a very long queue embarking the Epic at Marseilles. I would say 1 hour 40 minutes waiting time. We are Platinum members so we got into the Priority queue but it still took 45 minutes (why do they make you fill out the paperwork online beforehand and submit photographs but insist on doing this again at the port). Such a waste of time. We noticed lots of cutbacks onboard. Not as much ...
The best part of cruise was the easy check in process but later learned it was because the ship was empty and sailed from Baltimore. Now for the bad, the food is absolutely terrible! The pizza only available for 3 hours each day (12pm-3pm) The buffet choices were few and slacking. The best meal we had was at Cagney's Steakhouse. Bill was $202 but luckily we had 2 free meals with cruise ...
We chose the cruise based upon the itinerary and the length of the cruise. We knew that some of the options would be limited. Having less people made it more relaxing and easier to get around, up and down throughout the ship. The glass elevators were elegant and fun.
The buffet was much more limited than other NCL ships. The aft deck is recommended for buffet dining, as the indoor dining area ...
9 day Caribbean (on the ship currently). Sold Dominican Republic, San Juan PR, St. Martin, Antigua, St. Thomas, great stirrup cay. Received, Dominican Republic, San Juan, St. Thomas.. diverted to Nassau for an overnight, then missed great stirrup cay.. yes it was due to weather, which I understand is not in anyone’s control. But I will not cruise with Norwegian again until they install a port at ...
Carnival Liberty , nice ship . A bit dated and lacking in a few areas but overall good value for the price . Food in the dining room was hit or miss. With some things excellent and other things not so much. Cabins were clean . Staff was great for the most part. Pizza was amazing! Casino was on the smaller side but still offered plenty of opportunities for those who participate . Build a bear ...
Just got off ship 2 days ago. This was our first time with royal Caribbean…and probably our last time. We booked this cruise to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and thought it would be fun. Room was outdated but decent. There was mold around the our bathroom sink and scattered all over in the shower…ok, i get it, it’s damp in there. Ok. Entertainment was slim. Only 1 comedy show and it was ...
Never have we said "get me off this ship". 12th cruise but first time on Royal Caribbean and the last time. We always sail with Princess or Celebrity. We wanted to try a new cruise line and it was a mistake. The only great thing about the ship was the staff. They were outstanding and had excellent customer service. The ship definitely showed it's age. The ship felt dirty and looked dirty. This has ...
We are a three person family with a toddler. We chose this cruise as part of a trip to Vancouver to see friends. Our cruising activities are limited by our kid, so we spend most of our cruises eating, walking around the ship, and enjoying some of the music activities.
Day 1: we had lunch and dinner at the buffet. Both times it was okay - good staff, no wait time, but food was pretty mediocre. ...
