Concierge at michael's club was awesome. The food and service at Luminae were off the charts. The Panama canal transit tour was great. Cartagena was a beautiful place and loved it. Porto Limone is a dump and waste of a day. Usually like Cozumel but with 7 ships in port it was like times square. Crew were great, very little wait for drinks etc. The only waiting time was for a burger at the pool ...
Wanted the opportunity to visit Iceland and the Faroe Islands, to learn about the geology, history and way of life of the people who live there. Enjoyed the dramatic scenery. Also liked being able go sightseeing in the places visited and to try some locally brewed beers. In particular liked having overnight stops in Reykjavik and Akureyri.
Well organised with friendly staff. Comfortable cabin ...
We chose this cruise for the destinations, previous experience with Celebrity, the embarkation port. This was our fourth cruise with Celebrity and we have two more that were booked before this cruise. We were disappointed with Celebrity but the Tampa Port was very efficient for us and the key destinations were as good or better than expected. Celebrity staff continue to provide a great cruise ...
My wife and I sailed on Royal Princess Cruise 15 Nights to Hawaii from San Francisco (27 Mar – 11 Apr) I am Elite Captain’s Circle Member.
Our Cabin Steward was excellent Elizalde. Also special praise for Mr Xavier (Guest Service Director) who was extremely helpful with a major issue I had with the Coffee Card/Elite Benefits.
Let me start by saying that Royal Princess Cruise Ship is ...
We decided on Scenic based on our friends’ recommendation and it did not disappoint! It was all inclusive which meant we didn’t have to worry about any additional payments. The best thing about Scenic cruises is the quality of service, food and drinks. The staff looked after us so well that we felt like royalty! We also looked forward to breakfast, lunch and dinner every day! The only unfortunate ...
A Viking representative met us at the Basil Airport and to the time we were escorted to the airport in Amsterdam, we were given exceptional service. The Rhine River Cruise met all my expectations. It was well organized; staff was friendly; and meals were delicious. The excursions were well planned, and the tour guides were experts in their fields. The daily walking tours took us into German and ...
We wanted to see the cherry blossoms in Japan and booked with HAL because they were sailing this spring at the right time. We sailed with them in 2016 to Alaska and it was fine. This sailing was just awful. I read the cruise critic review several months ago when we first booked and it seemed very good but their review is way out of date. I checked recent reviews just before sailing and they ...
Picked Cruise because port was nearest in mid-winter, 10 days and went where we wanted to go. Left from New York Manhattan and was full with New Yorkers, Brits and French. Boarding for wheelchair was slow (1 hour+ wait).
Food was tops, service especially cheerful. Specialty restaurants were outstanding! Variety and quality of food at buffets was very good! Good hygiene.
Cabin service was ...
Most of the negative I have is due to it being spring break and inundated with families. If you think about 2 people per room, then have kids in with parents, there are just more people. We learned a timing lesson, but it was unavoidable due to our group having a 7 year old. We were a group of 8 celebrating a milestone bday. Mostly in our 50s with a 31 year old and his son.
We are from CA ...
This was my very first cruise as well as my best friend who I was travelling with. To say we were disappointed was an understatement.
First when we were at the airport we had to wait in a line for over 30 minutes just to board a bus to the terminal. Once at the terminal we went through security and with no signage to instruct us otherwise, we walked out of the building and went to board the ...
