Oceania is known for finest cuisine at sea but it seemed its quality has gone a bit downhill. The dish presentation is very dull and seemed many people can do a better job at home. In general service is good but could be better as it named itself as luxury cruise line.
Entertainment is limited as the ship itself is not big. Sometimes you find not much to do on the ship. Luckily there is music ...
We had the misfortune of travelling on Norwegian Dawn in May. This was supposed to be the replacement cruise for the big foul-up Norwegian made on our Mediterranean cruise. We had to cancel this cruise due to covid and a big screwup on our flights. I will never book a flight with any cruiseline after this mess. You never know the itinerary until the day you try to check in. Also words of ...
This was my first cruise to Hawaii and the longest cruise I have been on. The ship was beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable. Some don’t care for the medallion, but I find it so convenient, you have your arms full and approach your door, it unlocks, it does everything and more than the card does.
The entertainment was sadly lacking both in variety and what they offered. They had only ...
The idea of taking the cruise was to visit Amsterdam beforehand and cruise along Norway villages were the two countries that we wanted to visit for the longest time. We were disappointed with how old the ship was, everything is outdated. The $32 fee a day for a couple is for room cleaning but the toilet area ALWAYS smells like urine.
The service in the Tides restaurant was excellent, though all ...
Our group of four cruised with Norwegian for the first time on the Dawn.
The ship has a really confusing and frustrating layout, we were still wondering which way was which on the last day. Lots of dead ends and back tracking got pretty frustrating. The lack of observation (of the ocean) areas is confirmation of the dated design. Not to mention the cigar room alongside Gatsbys bar, crazy!

Needed a short getaway close by. I had read the reviews and was expecting a hassle but the whole affair was a surprising delight. Everything was just fine, from embarking to debarking. The cabin was clean, everything worked. The crew were friendly and working hard. The food wasn’t 5 star but it was good enough! Drink package was worth it for us. Casino paid out a win. The itinerary wasn’t ...
This was our first cruise with Oceania. We have sailed many other lines before, but this was the smallest, most luxury ship we have sailed, and there were things we loved and things we didn't. We had a Concierge balcony.
First, the service on this ship was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed/wanted. This was one of the highlights of the cruise. ...
The Adventure of the Seas is a good choice for destinations, but limited sea days. Affordable for couples trip. We booked a Junior suite and it was wonderful with lots of space and cabin steward was great. He was attentive without being obtrusive. The Main dining room food and staff was very good with theme nights. Windjammers food was very good, without overcrowded atmosphere. Food was never ...
Embarkation was a breeze and we were able to make our mandatory muster station visit upon boarding.
We chose this sailing for the 9 night itinerary with 5 ports. St. Thomas was cancelled because of medical emergency with a diversion to Nassau, but that happens and we wish the patient well. We were Impressed with how quickly the port taxes and shore excursion refunds appeared in our online ...
For our first post-Covid cruise, my friend and I chose a tour of the British Isles on the Norwegian Dawn. (This was my first time on Norwegian, but my friend had sailed with them several times in the past.) We flew into Heathrow and the Norwegian representative was right on site, whisking us quickly away to very modern buses - or as they say, coaches. It was an hour and a half drive to ...
