Not what it’s cracked up to be!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Breakaway

We chose the western caribbean because of the sea days in between ports and booked with 3 other couples and 4 children. Since our last Breakaway cruise in Nov.2016, the fee was added for Margaritaville which was disappointing. We used to go there a lot but not this time; not paying $10 p/p when there’s 13 of us! The addition of the 2 “private” islands is a joke! Especially since they don’t allow ...

Unhappy staff. Poor service. Many activities, ie, Xbox, were out of service. Lack of activities. Long wait for everything given there are lack of activities most of the times. Room was left unlocked by staff. Food quality was ok . Feels like they been sitting for days before being service. Several times, the host had no idea where our tables are. Long wait for desert. We believe the dining staffs ...

TOO MANY CHILDREN AND THEIR RUDE & ENTITLED PARENTS

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

This was my very FIRST CRUISE EVER, and I have to say I was APPALLED! I chose Royal Caribbean because I had heard RC appealed and catered to a more sophisticated Clientele. Regrettably that is NOT the case. There were over 1500+ rooms occupied by loud, rude, obnoxious Children (ages 17 yrs & less) and their rude, loud , obnoxious & aggresive Parents!!!! The majority of these Families ...

Received a promotional coupon to try this cruise line through Hilton Grand Vacations. I cruise 3-6 times a year on average. The first experience with this line will be my last! To start I booked the trip and paid in full with their customer service phone line. Five days later I was called and advised I was under quoted the fair and that I owed an additional $166, due to a mistake on behalf of the ...

Ruined Anniversary Cruise, Horrible Customer Service. Buyer Beware!

Preface: Let me preface this review by stating a few things about myself as a cruiser and passenger. When I look and book for a cruise I personally read as many good and bad reviews as I can prior to booking a cruise with any cruise line in order to determine whether or not to invest the money and time commitment to sail with them. When doing so I find that a lot of the negative reviews are ...

Royal Caribbean is not what it once was

We were looking for an escape from the cold weather and were lured by the low price for an inside cabin. Within a few hours of sailing out of Cape Liberty, we were wishing we were home. The ship was huge and crowded with lots of kids who were allowed to run around unsupervised. The pools were full of rowdy kids, and the "over 16" age limit for the solarium was not enforced. There was no place to ...

Horrible Cruise-Royal Caribbean Does NOT CARE!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

I have been on well over 15 cruises. None compares to this and due to the size of the ship, inexperienced staff, and lack of acknowledgement from Royal Caribbean. DONT expect it to change any time soon. Your vacation choice and time is precious. Here are the details. -RC booked over 1000 children. -I paid for a balcony which I could not use because of the huge family of yelling parents ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Viking Star

This was a 14 night cruise not 7. We did the full route from Rome to Barcelona on around to disembark at Rome. There were multiple issues with our Viking cruise. We chose this cruise because of the two Africa stops, stops that Viking deleted from our itinerary long after our cancellation time was past and after we had put in place trips and airfare before and following the cruise. We were ...

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Radiance of the Seas

We boarded the ship in Auckland which was completely hassle free. We were on the 8th deck cabin size was fine. The balcony was very small and the 2 seater sofa in the cabin somewhat tired looking. The lower deck seemed to have a larger balconies. Soon as we got on board we were confronted with the upsell of buying into the specialty restaurants - something we did not want to do as we felt ...
