Great time in the Mediterranean

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I'm 65 years old and have never been to Europe. What better way to see it than on a cruise? This cruise is all about the ports, there is only one sea day and most of the port days are long. This was my first cruise on a mega ship, but it didn't really feel much different than the smaller ships. There are lines for some things, but never long. Embarkation went quickly and smoothly. We did ...

We chose this trip because of it's itinerary. My wife wanted to see the Eiffel Tower and the Arch of Triumph in Paris, France. Also, she wanted to visit London and see Buckingham Palace. London has so many historical and majestic sites. Big Ben was under renovations. The House of Commons and Parliment had many protestors for and against Brexit. Westminster Abbey is very beautiful. Buckingham ...

We chose this cruise as our 30th anniversary celebration. We had never been to Europe & this was a great opportunity to see a few countries at once. Everything was very organized. Every staff member was very helpful, knowledgable & friendly. Food was delicious. We took advantage of the specialty restaurants, which was great to have a bit more quiet, romantic time. We particularly enjoyed The ...

I chose this cruise because I wanted to have a Barcelona land and a Mediterranean cruise vacation. We arrived in Barcelona four days prior to cruise which began Sunday, October 20, 2019. We also stayed on in Barcelona an additional two days after the cruise to do more sightseeing. Barcelona has wonderful sights to fill several days of sightseeing. Prior to the cruise we took a Viator guided ...

The nicest people and most interesting sites are on an Avalon cruise

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Avalon Poetry II

I have cruised on Avalon before and found them to be a wonderful and relaxing way to travel. I travel as a single. Their staff is very helpful in providing information on things to see and do on your own. You meet other nice travelers from all over the world. You see sites that you would never see unless you got off the beaten bath. Many UNESCO sites that would be missed if you sailed a larger ...

We just got back from the Canada New England cruise. I will start out with our meals at night, they were absolutely delicious-every single night from the appetizer to the dessert. Also, we had exceptional service from our waiter Ikadek and his assistant Marcos. They both had had great sense of humor, and had great attention to every detail, we always looked forward to seeing them at mealtime. ...

I went on this cruise with Mom and Sister (girls only). We had been a trip together in a long time. We had a great time. The pullout sofa bed was the most comfortable pullout I have ever slept on. Our waiters, Guisepee and David, were great. They were very attentive and anticipated our every need. We got to sit in the Club dinning area and were able to dine at anytime during the hours they ...

New England and Canada Cruise

We had a great time on our New England/Canada cruise on Regal Princess. Embarkation was an absolute breeze. It pays to download the Ocean Medallion app and complete the process on there. Embarkation was less than 10 minutes from curb to ship, while others were taking much longer because they weren't "Ocean Ready". We used Lyft to travel from our hotel near Wall Street and that was a very easy ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Norwegian Dawn

Our mini-suite was perfect. The balcony was just right for a evening nightcap and watching arrivals and departures. We were on deck 11, only 3 staterooms from the Spa! Such fun! A dip before we went on an excursion, then a dip after with a sauna and maybe a massage to relax before evening activities. Plenty of things to do, sometimes to many, but we had fun. The Special restaurants we chose ...
