My first cruise! Everything went well except for an excursion ( Isla Rotan) that was not clearly explained. I thought that snorkeling would be supervised and found out the hard way that it was not. Nor was it explained in the description. I learned so much that I can rely on my travel clients. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating. it was my girlfriends' first cruise as well. We really ...
Chose this cruise on a bit of a last minute special. We got Balcony Cabin for a great deal. I was a little skeptical due to the other reviews but don't listen to those negative cruisers.
This was a fantastic cruise for my wife and I and worth every penny. The ship is bit older but still in great shape, clean, and serviceable where it counts.
BE AWARE OF THIS THOUGH: It is best for ...
This was our 29th Princess cruise. We have cruised that much on other lines ( Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Regent, Oceania, NCL). When I see the Sea Witch logo on the Princess ship my heart is happy. This is our third time on Regal ( a beautiful, elegant ship) and generally, we don't like 7 day back to back cruises because the day in the middle is stressful and wasted. In this case, it fit the time ...
This was my 19th cruise, second on Princess.
Coming from Chicago, we arrived the prior evening in Ft. Lauderdale and stayed at the Hampton Inn on Las Olas Blvd. They have an airport shuttle til 11pm. Very clean hotel with nice breakfast assortment and pool area to relax at prior to departing for port in Ft Lauderdale. It was very cool in Ft. Lauderdale - which is par for a January or February ...
We were on the Regal Princess from 1/26/20 - 2/16/20. The weather was wonderful all three weeks, only a bit of rain on each of the Saturday sea days en route to Fort Lauderdale.
The highlight of the three weeks, had to be beating the Guinness Book of World Records for the most Wedding Vow Renewals at one time. Princess Cruises did a phenomenal job of organizing the event. Each couple ...
We are just back from a very nice 5 day cruise.
The ship looks great, we were last on board 3 years ago for a Baltic cruise.
Check in at New Orleans port was fine; we started the cruise off well with a Mojito at the Sugarcane bar and then went to the open main dining room and had a very nice lunch to start off. Cabins were ready about 1:30.
This was our first experience at the specialty ...
We like to avoid the Midwest winters so we have been somewhat regular cruisers (usually with NCL) since 1978 on the Skyward. Memorable cruises have included the Norway. We were on the cruise prior to the unfortunate, tragic 2003 Miami boiler room explosion that was the beginning of the end for that beautiful ship. Another memorable cruise was the slow passage by Monserrat shortly after that ...
We enjoy the Princess experience. We completed two, one week, back-to-back East/West Caribbean Cruises. Fort Lauderdale is easy to get to and the port handles multiple ships well. Embarkation using the pre-programmed Medallion went exceedingly well. Disembarkation went very well too. They're very well-organized. Very quick and easy! We feel that they are an exceptional choice in cruising and will ...
We loved the ship, it was well maintained and well appointed. It was clean throughout the ship all the time. Easiest embarkation and disembarkation. Many food options on buffets. Loved the Crown Grill. We thought the bar staff/bartenders at ALL bar locations were slow, unfriendly, and seemed put out to make a drink, especially if it was a specialty drink. I was literally the only one standing ...
Ultra expedition to Antarctica.Experience of a lifetime. Expedition staff is one of the best in the industry. If you book your entire trip, including your flights, you will be well taken care with shuttle and minimum baggage handling on your part.Tours could be pricey, but well worth to enjoy the visits to all the scenic ports.
Staff on ship will pamper you, meals are five stars and the ...
