I got what a thought was a great deal on a 7nt cruise. It was terrible. Cabin was nice, but we were given 1 towel each day. Had to track down steward for a 2nd every day. Cabin took forever to be cleaned.
I'm glad the muster drill was not a real emergency (we would have drowned). you can't have almost 4,000 people on 2 sets of stairs. Once we were at our muter station it was wall to ...
It may have been our fault that we didn't research the ship as thoroughly as we should have before we choose it. We really just looked at designations. Our mistake.
The Escape is a very very large ship. And quite crowded at times. My biggest complaint was that the pool area was always crowded with people drinking early and often. The pools and hot tubs were extremely crowded and let's face it, ...
This was our first post covid cruise. We last sailed on the breeze and it was still great. Embarkation was ok- didnt recall all the steps.. Once onboard we went to the casino bar. Sheila was very friendly! We could only get one drink between us both until we did muster. WHICH was amazing- love the new method. We mostly hung in the casino.. didnt watch any shows. We did watch a lot of live ...
This was our first cruise with Regent. We've travelled with Viking, Windstar, Poinant, and others. The Navigator cruise from Barbados to Barbados looked like a nice itinerary. The cruise itself was very nice and the crew and food were great, on a par with Viking. There were a couple of issues shouldn't have happened on Regent.
The main issue was the absolutely chaotic transfer from the ...
We had a great time on the Navigator of the Seas sailing from February 3-10. It was just my partner and myself and we really enjoyed to entire cruise. We flew in the night before and stayed at the Vagabond Inn in San Pedro. It was clean and we were only there for nine hours to sleep. They do have a free shuttle to the cruise port that runs every 15 minutes, it only took about 5-10 minutes to get ...
After hearing how “great” Royal cruises are we decided to give it a try. Well, it was the worst experience we’ve ever had! Very unorganized and severely lacked efficiencies (took us 30+ mins to check our kids into the kid camp they have, anytime dinning was a big mess even with a reservation each night), when asking an employee a question it was evident you were bothering them or they just walked ...
We chose this cruise because it departs from Tampa. The day of embarkation was hectic; fog closed the port for 8 hours, so we could not board until 6 PM. Once onboard, the ship left as quickly as possible and we were underway by 8:15 or so. We lost no port time due to late embarkation. The ship, though old, is clean and comfortable. Food upstairs by the pool is delicious, as is the food in the ...
Having sailed with Celebrity for over 10 years, we choose this as a trip with friends.
The retrofit that was done, was done well. I do not fault the ship at all. The staff for the most part (98%) gave us the superior service that you expect on Celebrity.
All our issues with the cruise were caused by Shoreside. We were drawn to X because they did not cruise like the other lines. They ...
I'm not great with big crowds so we decided for our first cruise we would go with a smaller ship (which I am glad we did) and as I like quality the Seven Seas Navigator seemed like a good choice. We were originally touring the Caribbean in 2020 but the pandemic stopped that so this was our rescheduled attempt. Organising the cruise was easy and we got good advice from the rep in the U.K. ...
Decided to try this for a change and what a mistake that was.
Flew to Tenerife and then bused to the ship and went through boarding fairly easily and onto ship.
Ship looked in reasonable condition and cabin was clean and functional. Bathroom had shower curtain and shower head was too low to stand under and no soap.
After three hours case had not been delivered to room and went and ...
