Fun trip overall! Biggest issue was needing to switch ship due to low water. We went on a cruise rather than land tour specifically to be able to stay in one room for the duration. I wanted to see Budapest and Vienna but I ended up enjoying the smaller cities along the way. our ship, which was supposed to be a year old was swapped for a ship that was over 10 years old. This was my 5th Viking Cruise, second time doing the Rhine. Our very first Rhine Cruise was July 2015. Wow! Viking has changed! Many of the optional excursions were included in 2015.
