Supposed to be a 5Star cruise on an older Sailing Ship. 4th day into the cruise 1 person was reported to have Covid. Whole ship was tested for Covid and about 20 of us were quarantined in our cabins.we were told we had special menus, no cabin service, no contact with anyone. Food was delivered on paper plates with plastic utensils that broke as soon as I tried to use them. The Captain ...

It was way beneath our expectations

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Silver Spirit

Having cruised all over the world on various lines, we thought we would try Silversea. We had heard good things about it and thought it was an upscale cruise line. We were wrong! These are the reasons we did not like this cruise line. The cruise was Fort Lauderdale to Fort Lauderdale traveling to the West Indies. Restaurant service is slow Food was not good quality The food was very ...

Awful holiday as a non german speaking guest

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Aqua

We chose the cruise to visit the Xmas markets. On boarding the boat we were informed of a complete itinerary change due to low water levels, however they obviously put no effort into choosing an alternative itinerary as it was a vastly inferior itinerary with most places closed in 2 of the 3 stops we went to and the markets a far cry from the ones we were supposed to visit (except ...

Not the Cunard we have loved for years

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Queen Elizabeth

We have sailed with Cunard since 1996 (Diamond Members) and this cruise was our first since covid lockdown we were a family party of four (two Accessible cabins) From start to finish it was one problem after another and it was clear that whatever cost cutting Cunard could make to try to recover some of their losses they did. Social distancing was a joke, we had a table of four and the next ...

Covid outbreak on Seanourn Ovation

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

Seabourn Covid

Currently on Seabourn Ovation and covid outbreak. My husband - double jabbed -pcr and lat flow negative before boarding is positive - along with many others. I’m confined to my cabin. First thing we were told to do was we did not need masks despite the ship having previously visited Mykonos and there reportedly being at least one case of covid on board. Funnily enough the Captain has a new ...

Restrictions for any and all

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Viking Sky

My 83 year old mother and I chose Viking as her end all get all Cruise. Her grand finale’. We loved the itinerary and added days on the front and back end. Thank God for those days. Once we boarded, early as we had a nice suite, we were told we could not leave the ship unattended via letter in our stateroom. At any port. This was not communicated before hand. This is how it works. Must be ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Jupiter

We have traveled with Viking on 10 cruises and were looking forward to a fun voyage around Iceland. We had the required COVID vaccinations and the COVID nasal swab (within 72 hours of flying). Upon boarding the Jupiter, all passengers are given a COVID tracking button and one is required to carry this tracker at all times outside the stateroom. The button allows Viking personnel to monitor your ...

Horrible Ocean Remodel Cruise

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Le Soleal

Day 7 of our Ponant “Luxury” cruise. Today they told us that, because of maintenance, there will be no water on board from 2pm until 5pm. Typical of this remodel cruise. But first things first….DO NOT, EVER TAKE A PONANT RELOCATION (ie remodel) CRUISE. There are only 88 passengers on this cruise from Ushuaia Argentina to Easter Island instead of the 249 capacity so I guess they thought they ...

Review for a Asia Cruise on Seven Seas Voyager

We chose this cruise because of it's itinerary. We have cruised a lot. In a nutshell, the ship itself met our expectations. Comfortable. Clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Food very good. Entertainment good. Our only disappointment were the excursions -- unless you pay extra, you get mediocre excursions -- mostly long bus rides. But the poor rating has nothing to do with the excursions. ...
