Bermuda Bliss

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Insignia

We booked this cruise as a less expensive alternative to flying down and staying a few nights in a $1200 a night room in one of the resorts down in Bermuda. The itinerary was perfect-- 2.5 days in St George and a day and a half in Hamilton and well away from the large ships in the Dockyard. A well positioning floating hotel near all the things we like to go and do on the island. It was our first ...

Review for a Europe - River Cruise Cruise on Scenic Sapphire

This is our second time with Scenic, the first being 14 nights from Amsterdam to Budapest. The Scribe in Paris was our pre cruise hotel and it was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Scenic was able to extend our stay with their rates for 6 nights which helped for a smooth transition. We bussed from Paris to Chalon Sur Seone where we embarked. Bus ride was about ...

Best cruise ever...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Sky

User Avatar

We choose this cruise as it was going to all the ports we have been longing to visit for years. We were able to enjoy all the Scandinavian countries, Russia, Germany, and other countries along the Baltic Sea. The embarkation and disembarkation were easier than ever. There were plenty of associates to assist us with checking in and to answer any questions we had. The ship exceeded our ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Viking Jupiter

2-5 Cruises • Age 70s

My wife and I chose this voyage to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The viking homelands are about as far as you can get from Australia and are a part of the world we'd never seen but read so much about. For us to get to Stockholm to embark required 22 hours of actual flying time and together with stopover times, the journey took 31 hours all told. The old joke about you don't have to be ...

We wanted to start with an ocean cruise that brought us to countries we had not been too before. Norway was amazing and the stops we made along the start of this trip were truly memorable. We did do some of the "optional" tours along the way and some of the "included" tours were also quite good! The restaurant experiences (food, seating, service, etc) were quite an experience, as everyone seemed to ...

Incredible customer experience

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

It's difficult to capture the Ovation experience easily. But, in a word - sublime. There was no request that was too big or too small for them. We cruised as a party of four in Veranda Suite rooms. Our rooms were located aft near to the staircase, which is a lovely location. Highly recommended. Embarkation - this was effortless and enjoyable. We were met at the airport and had an easy ...

My wife and I are cruise-a-holics. we have been on some 20 or more cruises and taken a variety of cruise ships. Now, we choose cruises based on the itinerary because we love to visit places we have never seen before. This cruise, however, my wife booked and informed that it will be unlike the others in that it is considered a foodie cruise and is more upscale than all the others cruises. So, I was ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Nautica

REVIEW. Eleven day Baltic Cruise. Aug 24 - Sept 4 We have just returned from a Baltic cruise on Nautica. I was beginning to wonder if Oceania was the company for us as there were a few naysayers on this Forum. No smoke without fire I thought. Nautica does need a refit. She is a bit tired and old fashioned. However everything worked except the fridge which was replaced within hours of ...

Bitterly disappointed

We chose this cruise because it fitted in with the dates of our round the world itinerary and it was an opportunity to visit ports we've never been to before. We were a little surprised that this company charges approximately 1/3 more than previous cruises we've taken in similar categories but, we were constantly assured by all the advertising before travelling, that it was "the finest cuisine ...

One of the best Cruise experiences we have had

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Azamara Pursuit

User Avatar

10+ Cruises • Age 80s

We chose this cruise because we love Azamara cruises. The ships are good, The crew is very nice and treats guests very well. The ships only hold 700 or so guests so you get to know people easily and there are few children on board. Azamara seems to plan cruises that are designed to give to gust a very large exposure to the port cities of the countries they visit. The shore excursions are ...
