Ship was over 4 hours late departing. Check in was a disaster, took 3 hours of waiting in lines to board the boat. Also, parking was $315 for the week. Food is beyond terrible. We chose this cruise based on a great casino offer. We had sailed on her in 2008 and 2009 when she was fresh and nearly new. Today the ship is in fairly decent shape. Received a text while already in nyc saying there was a technical error with the ship preventing the prior cruise from getting to port on-time. My 10am check in was changed to 3-6pm. First cruise since COVID, and second time on Anthem. Embarkation was so smooth and took the most of 5 minutes inside before walking onto the cruise ship.
