This was my 5th cruise but first time on RCI. We sailed November 25th on Liberty of the Seas. It was really a great cruise. I see people give negative reviews and complain about how bad it was and I don't really understand. My thoughts are how could anything be that bad I'm on a cruise!! I've had a bad one but I was still happy just cruising. So this last cruise did not disappoint. Let's start ...
The ship is fantastic, love the Oasis Class, and if this is your first cruise you will be WOWED by everything. I will say if you are a repeat cruiser with Royal Caribbean, as my husband and I are, you will find that RC is cutting staff, services, and unfortunately food quality (our dinner table found all steak choices were tough). The food choices on the dinner menu appears to be diminishing ...
Loved there were 3 combinable promo's which made this cruise very cost effective. The NCL staff and entertainment was phenomenal and the food was generally very good with a few exceptions. Some excursions were not worth the time or money but some were fantastic so it was a mix. It's always good to experience other countries and cultures so I'm glad we took this trip but we'd skip going back to ...
11 nights, newer and bigger ship out of New Orleans.
We enjoyed the ship and the ports. We took advantage of the double discounts on shore excursions and had some really nice ones. All of the excursions were great, but the Spice Farm from Harvest Caye was the best. We even got in the new NCL promotional video showing the spice farm tour.
The ship was beautiful, the food was great, and ...
We try to cruise at least twice a year. We heard about this new cruise ship coming into New York, so we decided to try it out. We got upgraded from an ocean view to a balcony. Overall it was a great 14-day cruise. We noticed many rude passengers, not only demanding to the crew but to one another as well, very disappointing. The storage space is smaller than we've seen for similar cabins, and not ...
This was our first cruise ever. We chose this one because of the Ports.
We didn’t know what to expect we thought for sure there would be this long line of waiting to get on and this big procedure. It was simple, flowed smoothly and we were impressed they were this organized.
My friend and also travel agent booked this same trip as well. We did not go together it was just the husband and ...
About once a year, my coworker and I take a cruise on whatever RC ship is in Cape Liberty, since we live locally. The stops are pretty much the same very year. We mainly go to the beaches when we are on an island. We usually get 4 -5 sea days. There is plenty to do onboard, if the weather is good. My favorite activity was the Escape Room, which you sign up for when you get on the ship. ...
Having just been on a 15 day Royal Transatlantic, we expected the same level of cruising on her sister ship, the Royal. While the "facility" was almost identical, a number of things were lacking.
The quality and variety of foods in the Main Dining Rooms seemed below what was presented on the Royal. Even the Horizon Buffet was not quite up to par. When the buffet fails to please and you end up ...
This is only our 2nd cruise, 1st one on RCL. We chose it for the destination and flew from Toronto to Miami 2 days before & stayed in South Beach. The room was comfortable, with plenty of closet space and hangers for 2 of us. Balcony small, but we didn't spend too much time there, as there was so much to see and do around the ship. We enjoyed the shows Burn the Floor and Million Dollar Quartet, ...
Obviously weather was cold in Nov-Dec. But once you get to the Caribbean it was beautiful.
Because of weather we couldn't stop at Stirrups Cay so I have no review of that.
The Ports were all nice and we had good weather for a change, so it was nice.
The ship was big, but because the way it was laid out it didn't seem too big. the most congested places were the buffet and the atrium, ...
