The dining room and cabin steward were great. The ship just came out of dry dock and there were technical problems with the Movies at Sea on deck, that was a bit disappointing. Many workers came along on the first leg out of dry dock to finish up maintenance, no big deal - just something we noticed.
The Panal Canel was everything we hoped for as this was our first time through the ...
Clean ship.
Service in dining room super slow. Food adequate, not great.
Took 2 hours for breakfast one morning. Luckily it was a sea day.
Be careful in the islands. Some people on our ship had an incident in Antigua. Google it. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Beach at Tortola was nice. Favorite port is St. Maartens. Nice beach.
Room was bigger than expected. Good ...
Pros: it's a cheap cruise and left from Galveston. Fellow cruisers were full of fun. We have been on many cruise lines, would pick the cruisers on Carnival over the more expensive lines just because they laughed so much and truly have a good time. Ship was mostly clean and well run. It was nice to have a couple of days at sea to just relax. Embarkation was very smooth. Debarkation was smooth for ...
This was a family cruise with 22 people. I was very sceptical after all threw bad reviews.
EMBARKATION: was very quick. Room was beautiful but could have been cleaner. I'm a clean freak and parts of the corner if the floor weren't very well cleaned. The main parts were cleaned daily. I like the bathroom better then Carnival and Princess due to the shower having glass doors that fold ...
Our cruise started with a 6 day escorted tour of Cambodia followed by a night in Singapore so we were ready for some relaxation. We arrived at the dock and our cases were offloaded by Princess staff, no queues, and we went straight through to the desks, again no queues, and were on board within 10 minutes. When we arrived at our cabin (balcony, Baja deck)our suitcases were already waiting, so we ...
Wanted to see the Panama Canal for a second time and was hoping to see the new canal. Unfortunately we went through the old locks. However had a great time with 3 other couples in all of the cruise stops. The ship is showing its age (built in 2003, I think) and prefer the newer, larger ships. The staff and service were terrific. The cabin was clean but dated. The food in the dining room was ...
This was our 2nd cruise with Princess. This line has good food and drinks. The ship was in good condition for it's age. The rooms were in nice condition. The Wheelhouse bar/gathering room could use some new furniture. We did the cruise of the Gatun locks and into the lake. With our excursion we got to see the new locks we felt it was enough to satisfy our curiosity of panama canal. My advice if ...
After reading reviews here, I was leery about this trip. It was my fifth cruise, first on Norwegian, with an itinerary I was really excited about. I’m happy to report that I had a great time cruising to Cuba on the Norwegian Sky. Embarking in Miami was a breeze and we were on the ship by 1 pm enjoying lunch in the dining room. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and explored the small comfortable, ...
