Did a back to back cruise and it was
Just ok, cruise was nothing special.
Ship was just ok
Activities were just ok
The food was not ok. it was nothing special
It seamed every thing on the ship was bingo related ( going for every dime they could get )
Their private island was horrible food was gross drinks cost no matter if you had a drink plan ( they can say they charge because ...
We thought this would be a step up for RCL and NCL. Disappointed. It took two hours to eat in the dining room, which meant you missed two of the possible shows to see. Mainstage was not that good - dancers and comedian. Lincoln Center stage and Billboard was the only good entertainment - no dancing. BBKing was just a performer who screams a lot - no dancing music. Food was good, if you waited long ...
My husband and I are longtime NCL guests. We chose this cruise based on the convenience of departing port being close to home and also based on the itinerary. We have taken numerous cruises with NCL and were very disappointed in this cruise. It lacked all of the reasons we usually choose to vacation on this cruise line.
Embarkation was disappointing. First time ever where it seemed chaotic and ...
We usually cruise Carnival and thought we would give Norwegian a try. Never again! Just a few things that made a huge difference: Staff not nearly as friendly, no soft serve ice cream machine, no free 24 hour pizza, no indoor shuffle board or bags, food not nearly as good, and entertainment not as good. We will stick with Carnival!
Our cabin was nice, but the kids room and arcade was at the ...
We chose this cruise because we like the itinerary, the dates were perfect and the price was good.
In the past we have cruised with P&O, Cunard, Royal Caribbean & Princess and have always had a good experience -They all seem to offer something different and we are looking for an enjoyable holiday and good value for money.
The ship is well maintained and very clean, the public areas are well ...
Back home just last week from my first Norwegian cruise aboard the Epic. I had an amazing holiday thanks to the lovely, friendly people that I met on board. Would I cruise again with the Epic though? Don’t think so.
I’ll start by mentioning the positive points about the ship that made my trip enjoyable.
The ship is clean, well maintained and the decor is sublime.
Very hard working crew. ...
We chose this cruise mainly due to the itinerary, to fall in the middle of a month long trip to Australia.
I do take the responsibility of not considering the amount of sea days vs port days. Four ports on a ten day cruise was too few, with three of the four being tender ports (too many tender ports).
We are a couple in our late 50’s and felt drastically out of place on this mainly ...
We have been on over 20 cruises on various lines. We took this because it was the next level up and we wanted to compare it to Oceania. One passenger describe it best when he said about the crew, they are very friending and smile but the just don't understand what you are asking for. Alcohol is included in the price but if you don't drink, the staff does not know what to do with you. I never ...
To start..the boarding process was easy. $15 per bottle of alcohol to bring onboard..total crock! Getting into our room was easy..getting our bags delivered to the room took forever..thought our bags had been lost it took so long and we tipped the guy at the terminal. Food that was available was a buffet..no pizza place. That would be the Biggest disappointment of the entire cruise..I've been on 2 ...
We thought it would be a nice getaway. The refurb as far as we could tell was just removing part of buffet which left just little selection of food and adding a sports bar. Also removed smoking to little area at pool area. And of course left smokers to wind and rain. You can smoke in the casino if you want to stand, get dirty looks and smell like smoke that emulate throughout. There is a cigar ...
