What’s Happened to the Royal Caribbean Brand?

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

On boarding the ship my wife and I were shocked to find our cabin would only be serviced once a day. This was not a cheap cruise particularly when paying in Aussie $. Royal Caribbean left this to the cabin steward to try and explain. Very poor effort on behalf of the management team to leave this to the cabin attendant. Surely a cabin cleaned twice a day provides a much more healthier environment ...

This cruise was out of Galveston so we could drive to the port. Our daughter alerted our family to the "kids sail free" special so there were 8 adults, and 7 children: 11, 8, 6,5, 2 1/2, 16 months and 11 months. They discovered that "any time dining" meant that you could not go to the dining room until 6:45 p.m. or later and a reservation was required. The buffet did not have a kid friendly ...

My final cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Cruise assessment: Ship feels cramped, lots of staterooms, poorly laid out for social settings. No quiet areas except in state room. Smoking in open casino at atrium flowed smoke through whole ship Smoking glassed area wasn’t sealed - pool area was smoky Pools: 3 listed on ship description… One was useable, one was the kiddy paddle pool/slide area The third was private for ...

First cruise ever, never again on Carnival

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Conquest

Shows this cruise because it fit my schedule and the price was reasonable. However, the food at the Monet dining room. Very good food I give the food at the Monet dining room along with the service five stars. The ship does show its age it’s got rusted out parts on the ship, we can see holes nothing would make it see worthy. The reason why I will never go on Carnival again is because they ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and length of cruise. I had been on a Carnival ship years ago and had a great experience. This cruise started off with a dirty stateroom that clearly had not been vacuumed. Crumbs and fingernails all over the floor and the desk area was sticky and dirty, as was the opening around the window. In addition, we had a non-functioning remote control and they ...

Cheapened Cruise, bring Pre Covid back.

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

I have always really enjoyed cruising and out of Baltimore is a plus. I've cruised all lines out of Baltimore and have liked Carnival best. Pre Covid we cruised on Pride and really enjoyed ourselves. After Covid we have cruised twice on the Legend. The first cruise on Legend was average, I chalked most of this up to the fact of the cruise ships just getting back into business and getting their ...

Carnival has gone down hill

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Glory

I wouldn’t recommend carnival anymore. I have been going on carnival for years and loved it up until my recent experience. They have cut cost where they shouldn’t. People go on a cruise for the food let’s be honest but their food was like greasy diner quality for the so called fancy dinner. Most of my meals would have been better at Waffle House. The chicken was dry the desserts were not good ...

FOOD:As a vegan I found the food to be lacking. There were some options but there wasn’t an ingredient list or clear vegan label on everything. I feel like the set up could have been much better in the marketplace buffet. There is a lot of room for improvement here.In my opinion it’s very outdated and low budget. The pizza with no cheese is basically what I ate all week with salads. Gets very ...

Totally disappointed

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I wish I would’ve googled this ship before we booked, but I guess I gotta learn somehow. This was our first cruise with Norwegian and everyone was ranting and raving about how great everything is. The only thing they had going for them was embarkment and disembarking, that was super easy as long as you know what you are doing. Our room had a hull balcony, which is fine because I knew what those ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We chose this cruise to sail with family. That was really the only good point. We are gold members and it's either our 7 or 8th cruise. Never able to get a deck chair. The entire ship is beat up and dated. The food was horribly disappointing. The entertainment was so very limited and just not up to carnivals usual standards. We paid for the Italian restaurant and the service was phenomenal. The ...
