The bedding in the stateroom is perfection, the stateroom attendant was great. With that said, we were traveling with a party of 10, 5 balcony cabins in a row but somehow they split one of the cabins and so not a fixable thing. This was my 5th cruise, and I chose this ship because it was smaller than previous ones, thinking that the on board experience would be more personal. It didn’t get off to a good start when the muster drill confused everyone, and people waited in the wrong places, so it had to be redone. We were a group of ten and we all had a wonderful experience! Will we do it again? Most definitely, we are actually planning the next cruise lol! Our 3young one had a great time. The Grand Princess went round trip from San Francisco, our local area. We did not want to fly and stay overnight for a cruise to Alaska, and this was convenient.
