The background on this trip was the family vacation we haven't taken since our kids hit their teens and now both are graduated and continuing their educations, not living at home anymore, and thus this was supposed to be a trip with our two adult age children 23/21 like we have never done before. A trip we would cherish as time together going forward will be nothing but precious.......

To all it may concern, we sailed aboard the NCL Breakaway in H6 cabin #9316 $9071 for one week cruise, June 9, 2019. We received our room key cards at check-in Haven lounge. For the two of us the 2nd bathroom was a waste of space and never used, takes away from the living area and master bedroom. Balcony was the only plus, 236 sq ft of luxurious space with the best overhang providing shade from ...
I LOVE the itinerary of the NCL Jade. I’ve been on other Mediterranean cruises with other lines who were organized so one cannot say oh that’s how they do things in Europe. The Jade had poor communication from the time we checked in (late 2 1/2 hr start was never emailed to us— a little more time in Venice would have been nice!) until debarkation in a quonsa hut in Rome. No porters were available ...
I am a frequent cruiser and have cruised RCCL, NCL, Disney, Celebrity, and Carnival all in the past. I find that Carnival has the best deck parties and just seems more fun in general. However, this ship deserves the poor reviews.

Overview (C):
We rated each category A-F based on our experience on the NCL Dawn. Overall the ship was okay... nothing exceptionally glamorous but not terrible either. Our main issue with the Dawn was terrible communication and transparency especially when it came to logistical problems such as boarding the ship (which took over two hours and we were there at our allotted time) and two ...
We chose this cruise more for the itinerary than for the ship itself and based solely on the itinerary we had a great time. If this was a review just of the cruise ship I'd say it was below average for what we've had in the past. I'm putting this recap out there mostly to help others with ideas for the ports of call and less for the ship itself.

I used to carry on a bottle of wine to enjoy in my cabin, and there was no charge. They would only charge you a corkage fee if you took it to the dining room to open and enjoy. Now, they stop you immediately after TSA and make you feel like a criminal! I asked the guy taking my information to charge me, when this rule came to be and he would not answer me. I guess the nickel and diming will ...
Background information: My husband and I are in our 80s, and I use a small mobility scooter to help me get around. This was a cruise to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with our four children. This was Bob's 19th cruise and my 30th cruise overall. It was his fifth and my sixth cruise on Royal Caribbean. We booked this cruise everyone could get off work on those dates and because it went ...
Chose this cruise because of the itinerary and all the stops it had to offer. The experiences in these wonderful ports were almost ruined because of the poor customer service provided by this ship. A special mention however goes to our cabin steward, Victor, who took great care of us and Reuben's staff at the Java Café who tended exceptionally well to our every drinking need! The embarkation ...
We booked this strictly for the Iteneriary. It was a b2b and we would not book b/b again with Fort Lauderdale. Ship was great, service was stellar, food was very good. Enjoyed Planks and Seafood the best.
Coffee was HORRIBLE at best ...unless you had coffee package and went to Int. cafe for espresso or speciality coffee's. It is all syrup!! So disapointing to finish off an elegant meal in ...
