Princess Under Staffed and Unprepared to Manage a Cruise

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Ruby Princess

Princess was totally not ready for this cruise. To begin, there were customers standing outside for 3-1/2 hours in order to get to the check-in area. Once on the ship, there was not enough staff or trained staff to handle the 2,552 passengers. Waiting in line was a daily experience in many areas. Poor execution of excursions - not prepared, not researched and definitely overpriced. ...

Sad to say our recent 10 day cruise on the RMS Ruby Princess was not up to par and will be our first and last experience with Princess. We were with a large group of seasoned Princess cuisers and they were extremely disappointed by this experience. We did not know what to expect, but, based upon feed earlier feedback from them we expected Princess to be on par with lines such as Holland and ...

Worst of 5 cruises on the Allure and worst cruise ever on Royal Caribbean out of 30.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Allure of the Seas

There were several issues, none of which were resolved even after talking with the manager. The bathroom door was broken but never got fixed. The place to put your shampoo and conditioner was broken and never got fixed. Got unlimited specialty dining and after the second burnt steak at Chops Grille, I gave up. Who ever is running the sound for the Ice Games show needs to turn the sound ...

Did not get the room service we ordered. The dinning room service was very poor. The people working there did not care if you liked the food or not. They just wanted you out. Guys burgers were the only thing good about the cruise.Entertainment was not good. The room had mold in it. It has been a month and we are still sick from the cruise. Had to go back to the doctor’s twice. Not sure if it was ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on MSC Magnifica

booked this cruise as a present for my parents, as they've never cruised before. We had to take a pcr test 2 days beforehand, at a cost of £200...only to have to take a lateral flow test as well before boarding...ship was clean and staff were very nice and attentive. The food was really not what you would expect on a cruise ship, very "school canteen" in the buffet restaurant, and the Main ...

It's probably going to be difficult to describe the full extend of our disappointment with this cruise, but I'll give it my best try, with as much detail as possible so that you can appreciate why we were so disappointed. Embarkation Got on after spending an endless time waiting for an antigen test (which later showed up on the invoice as a $65 pp charge, when it doesn't even cost half ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

Everything you are reading in the reviews is the truth. Long wait lines, 4.5 hours of standing for myself and family with no explanations at all. Planned departure was April 19 at 4 pm. Actual departure after midnight. No drinking water available unless you purchased a case or two. Bypassed the first port of call with little to no explanation. Passengers being nickeled and dimes for every little ...

My husband and I waited two years to go on this cruise due to the pandemic. We were ecstatic to finally be onboard and in our lovely balcony room. Even though we were both fully vaccinated and boosted we both caught Covid on the third day of our sailing. We spent the next eight days ejected from our balcony room into a dank medical ward room. We spent the remaining days looking through the dirty ...

Stay away from a Getaway!

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Norwegian Getaway

My husband and I took about 30 cruises with different cruise companies and Norwegian Getaway was the worst experience in cruising we ever had! First of all, the embarkation was horrible! Even though we completed all paperwork and uploaded negative Covid test results, pictures, etc prior to embarkation, it took us 6 and a half hours to get onboard! After standing 3 hours outside in the cold, ...

5 of us traveled on the Casinos at Sea promotions. When we arrived at the port, the wait time was over 1 1/2 hours to get to a desk to check in. There was no priority line for my mother, who was in a wheel chair, nor the Casinos at Sea invited guests. It was stifling hot in the indoor area where the line was. We finally were able to board the ship, and went straight to O'Sheehan's, which never ...
