Mixed Experience on the MSC Bermuda Cruise

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

Me and my family recently embarked on an MSC cruise to Bermuda, and unfortunately, my overall experience was a bit disappointing. Here's a breakdown of my journey: Buffet Challenges: Navigating the buffet felt like a scavenger hunt for necessities. The constant shortage of cups and silverware turned every meal into a frustrating ordeal. It was disheartening to witness guests battling for ...

Disappointing

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Aurora

23 years ago my husband helped to build Aurora in Papenburg, Germany. He talked sometimes of maybe having a short cruise on her for nostalgic reasons. We took the plunge this year when she was sailing to Amsterdam on a mini cruise on his birthday. We booked a suite certainly not cheap for 4 nights but we were excited at the prospect of experiencing her from a totally different point of view. As ...

I'm working in F&B for 40 years and I was very impressed with the service and professional service from Yogi.My experience was very good from the first day we meet Yogi for all my reservations for the 5 days dinning in the Specialty restaurants. You should be proud of this gentleman. Very good experience in the Japanese restaurant. They need to improve the sauna area and the service there ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

Haven't been on a cruise in over 20 years. Left Ft. Lauderdale on Monday, 11/27/23. 10 minutes from terminal to 4th deck bar (no joke it was THAT quick). Easy, easy, easy. 4 day cruise - 1 Coco Cay, 1 Nassau. I loved everything about this cruise, including our Jr. Suite, except the food. BIG disappointment. Yes you can have as much as you want, but I really felt like the portions ...

So much to enjoy!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

Liberty of the Seas is a delightful ship with so much to enjoy especially on a 3 or 4 night itinerary. Embarkation was a breeze 5 minutes after being dropped off we were getting our welcome aboard photo and walking down the gangway directly stepping onboard. The Windjammer was open and had an abundance of food to select from. Everything we tasted was good and the service friendly. The exterior of ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Norwegian Sky

The Sky is an old ship. We knew this but NCL claimed their upgrade in 2022 was great. Not. Pros: Crew, all great, esp. 'Yogi' the butler and 'Huberth', concierge. Layout of the cabin (not the location, aft penthouse suite- above the show theater. Production shows were spectacular, all of them. Cagney's steakhouse was superb. Cons: Just feels old, wall paper in spots peeling through out ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Aurora

We were already booked on the Aurora for 16 night Baltic Cruise in May 2024 so when this mini cruise came up we decided to try it as a taster. We normally cruise with Cunard but we liked the itinerary of the Baltic cruise and liked the size of the ship, and adult only was a bonus. Having read some poor reviews of this ship, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. ...

Ship needs some Love….Quickly

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Celebrity Summit

We chose this ship for 2 reasons. One was because it was our first Celebrity cruise and two, we wanted to visit Key West. I kept hearing great things about Celebrity, so I figured to give it a try. We’ve been on many different lines, so we had a lot to compare certain things to. The not so good… First thing to say is the ship is old and is in need of some attention in many places. Rust is ...

Aurora troubles

Ok, chose this short break as an early Christmas do for my wife and I, the ship needs either a total revamp or scrapping, the archaic plumbing system is not fit for purpose, blocked overflowing toilets in the cabin happened three times in four days, the last day the bathroom was unusable for 8 hours due to failure of the vacuum system for the toilets. Sewage leaking across the bathroom floor, ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Magnifica

It’s worse than Carnival. You book to have dinner at a certain time but when you get here they give you run around telling you to go to guest services. You get there they send you back to the dining. It was a pattern. Guest services was useless and would give us wrong information the whole time. The whole boat smelled like cigarettes smoke. It was everywhere. It’s not kid friendly. I’ve never ...
