Don't Miss in Vilshofen an der Donau
Historical Center: Before your ship leaves, take a short walk to the town square for photos, a quick look around, a drink, and a pastry or pretzel from a local bakery. The square is dominated by the parish church, St. John the Baptist. Originally built in the 13th century, the church suffered a fire and was rebuilt in the late baroque style in 1803. Another sight that's Instagram-worthy is the Historic City Tower. Built in 1643, the tower was one of two city gates leading into Vilshofen.
