Beach-lovers should consider a day trip to Ono Concept, a chic beach club in the island's village of Poseidonia. The beach club, inspired by Mykonos' best, boasts a spacious beach with padded lounge chairs (many shaded) and kayaks available for rent, an outdoor restaurant and bar, a spa and shops. There is a surcharge to use the club.
A few steps from Miaouli Square, the church of Koimisis tis Theotokou (Dormition of the Virgin) is a fascinating representation of Greek Orthodox architecture; it also houses an original painting by famed artist, El Greco. Visiting the church is free.
