Facilities were good, but partnered with someone who had never paddled before and made no real effort to assist. the strong wind and current on the way back made it really hard.

The bike ride was 100% downhill--did not pedal once! We were then left in a very so-so town for almost an hour before our boat (aka rust-bucket) showed up to take us TUBING--what? that was not advertised. The seas were very rough and kayaking was therefore not allowed. We walked thru the old town instead. All this for only $289 PER PERSON---YIKES

This was a great way to play in the Adriatic and enjoy some time on a secluded beach and cave. You definitely need to be a little physically fit for the kayak excursion. it was fun sailing away from Blackwater Bay (Game of Thrones reference) aka Pile Beach and out into the Adriatic. It was lovely.

Went to Dubrovnik last year and loved it.Get some local currency before you go or as soon as you arrive as some places, like the city walls, wont take euros. Shared a taxi from port for 10 euros for 4 of us up to the Pile gate. We then walked the city walls for an hour, 8-9, when hardly anybody else there as had done this previously but with the hoards of tours crushing by.Then went sea Kayaking with independent excursion for half price of ship tour. However found out at dock that booking on the day could be even cheaper if willing to take chance they have spaces.Kayaked for 7 1/2 km in rough seas around city walls and over to a rocky beach/cave for snorkelling. We were the oldest on the tour by far in our late 40's but held our own! Then around the island off Dubrovnik and back to town. 3 hours in all but well worth it. Got to walk around the old town and dry off before sharing taxi back to port. Great day.

Kayaks were in good condition. Guides were great. Weather was perfect! Highly recommend this activity if you like being on the water! Still enough time afterwards to walk through Dubrovnik, enjoy a quick beer in an Irish Pub and take pictures in the cathedral. A near perfect day!

We really enjoyed the sea kayaking excursion, however, it said it would last 4 hours and only lasted 2.5 hours. This was disappointing because we had sea kayaked to this cave area and were told we only had a half hour to swim. If they would have given us more time to swim, that would have been nice. The sea kayaking was fun and neat. You will be tired but it is definitely doable. Then we walked around the city for lunch and headed back to the boat. GORGEOUS water here though.

more strenuous than i expected- we coped easily, but we are all fit- by RC standards it is tough- you do need to be able to balance, and to paddle for a total of an hour, with stops. well worth it. I would have likes to also see the town, but the in-port time only allows one excursion.
