This was probably the weakest excursion we took, with way too much time at the monastery and no time for photos in the lovely Paleokastritsa area. The stop overlooking the airport would have been better spent as free time in Corfu-town, which was interesting.

Was part of the tour that also included the palace as noted above. The whole tour was 4 hours with some time spent in the car getting to the sites. Organizing the excursion by email with the tour company was good.

Had a bit of free time to explore Corfu Town before heading to the Monastery, which is beautiful, but a bit of a drive for such a short period of time ther.

Pretty sight but a short trip! Don't remember much about this excursion to be honest apart from the Poleokastristra monastery. I was hoping to closer to it but we only had a view of it from the top!

The second stop was Corfu, this was an excellent tour of the Monastery and then shopping in the old town. I didn't know that we could visit the old fort until it was time to leave, so pay attention to that. The tour was translated into German and then English so it took a while.

We rented a car here with 3 other cars and made a caravan to Paleoktsriza. We went on a boat ride to the caves and some of the passengers even swam in the water which was cold. Then we went up to the monastery. After that we took a long way back to the ship and got lost a few times and found really quaint towns. We had lunch at the Achilleion Palace then headed for the ship with plenty of time to spare.
