Rushed tour, guide wasn't engaged. Was often out of AudioVox range. Not all tourists are Olympic sprinters, some want to take it easy, admire the art and architecture and cars, and great fashions. Of the 3 ports, this one was probably the least picturesque or exciting. Pedro de la Roca castle in Santiago is a must-see, as is San Juan Hill where I would have enjoyed more time. The guided tour of Moncada Barracks is not worthwhile and was rushed for us. It was accompanied by a lesson on Castro's history. The building is quite echoing and difficult to hear for the older people. I enjoyed the later community center with teenagers putting on a dance show, interspersed with some Cuban culture. I thought the rum distillery was a complete waste of time. Read Less
