Known as "The Walled City", San Juan is the oldest city currently inhabited under the American flag. Here, Segway Tours are an increasingly popular way to explore. The Segway PT is easy to learn, fun to ride and an experience you will want to relive again and again.

Met tour owner/operator at their storefront just a short walk from the pier. Received a short lesson on riding the Segway, enough time to make sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. 2 hour tour of the highlights in the Old San Juan area. Perfect way to tour with the steep hills, especially for people with limited stamina. Note: the do weigh each person in right when you arrive and won't accept riders over 260 lbs. Read Less

This was actually a great excursion however the guide(Jose) was lacking in people skills. He was impatient with those who did not catch on quickly to using the Segway. We mostly watched a video designed for people who had purchased their own segways for our learning experience. The Segway was a great way to see Old San Juan, but it was a tad challenging due to the steep inclines. The excursion itself should get an excellent rating, but guide's indifference and lacking personality makes me give it an average rating. Read Less

Segway tour was excellent we were the only 2 on tour so it was pretty much a private tour.
Sail Date: October 2015
Segway tour was excellent we were the only 2 on tour so it was pretty much a private tour. Really interesting and fun tour. You get to see a lot and don't have to walk long way to fort in hot weather.

Tour guide was great. For those who have never done a Segway, training is provided and visiting the fort was better than walking since no cars are allowed. Be prepared to leave valuables in an unlocked office. I was told I could not bring my backpack full of expensive camera equipment and there were no lockers or other safe place to put it. While I was smart enough to bring a lock and metal security cable, the parts of my backpack that were unlocked were gone through, but nothing was stolen. Read Less

Great tour guide, with good general knowledge and timings.

Great tour guide, with good general knowledge and timings. Very worthwhile and I guess a tad too expensive. Easy to do if you can ride a bike and walk.
