Perfect! Excellent roomy van with superb AC and guide. Trinidad/Tobago is the only Caribbean island we visited that did not seem like a 3rd world country. The manager (?) of St Benedicts Monastery explained its history and present-day use, as well as its Visitors House ( some visitors came while we were there to ask for their 3 free nights). Then the managers wife and helpers served us a small buffet of yummy tea and delicious homemade breads/cakes. We sat contentedly on the breezy patio/balcony, watching many hummingbirds drink/feed in the trees close by. There were clean bathrooms upstairs, and a lovely church ( where one can donate a dollar to the Monks, Church or the Poor, as Catholics are told to do since childhood .) My only suggestion would be to add a few fans, especially in the Monastery as it was hot and stuffy. This young man was a great and highly educated guide, whom I hope passengers tipped well. The Princess site recommends a ridiculously low amount to tip guides. It should be updated. Read Less

The Centre for Performing Arts building reminded us of the Sydney Opera House but much of the town is a bit shabby. Read Less
