Code: AND1, we had a great time! Loved riding our horses on the beach. 1 of our group was VERY experienced and allowed to run on the beach. Only 1 disappointment - when we handed over our camera to take the guide to take a group photo he failed to get me in our photo and spent time looking instead at my other photos. I'd still give this an excellent rating despite my disappointment in that 1 event.

We enjoyed the horseback riding on the beach. We took a short ride around the neighborhood around the beach area as well. The staff was very helpful and the horses were well trained and well behaved.

The man that owns the 35 horses did a great job with us non-horse people. He was very patient, thorough and protective of his horses and his customers. Well worth the money.

Riding - too many non riders - boring - beautiful beach though - western saddles did this similar excursion in Jamaica - the excursion was so amazing we wanted to do again - very disappointed this time - if you don't ride you will enjoy - they didn't prepare people well enough - the person who fell off - the whole saddle slipped to the side. Also too many people for the leaders - only two young boys - the owner whipped around in his car - they just yelled at us to keep nose to tail. Beautiful views - was lead into the water bareback - no pads like they had in Jamaica

Dickenson Bay Beach was great way to spend the day- not overcrowded, calm, relaxing waters. $25 got us 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. We took shuttle from pier and It drops you off at the beach- but ours dropped us off at a Sandals Resort and we had to walk about 10mins to get to the public beach area. We could have stayed on the Sandals Beach area, but the chairs are reserved for Sandals guests only and security ensures that. The public area was nice and we enjoyed it. Locals a little pushy with trying to sell their jewelry, but took our refusals nicely. Public bathroom and washroom were a joke- no shower in washroom. But we did enjoy the beach. My daughter and friend did the Horseback Ride on the Beach booked through the cruise- they loved it! Local staff was amazing, horses well taken care of and behaved and the got to swim the horses in the ocean. They really enjoyed this excursion.
