We enjoyed the ride to the submarine and the tour of the reef.
We enjoyed the ride to the submarine and the tour of the reef. The tour cost a lot more than it's worth. The price is too high. We saw better fish when we snorkeled in Bonnaire.

The dry sunny climate was so nice. I did feel like the moisture was being sucked out of my skin by the air, though. Everything about this excursion was terrific. I loved being out on the water in the ferry that took us to the mini sub, which is where you climb into the bottom of a boat and look out the windows. Our guide was fun and pointed out the ship wreak and 2 legged fish (snorkelers). Read Less

In Aruba, we took the Sea and See tour. This starts on an air conditioned coach which takes us from the port area through the town and past the high-rise resorts. On the northern side of the island we stopped to see the lighthouse. Great views from the area without going inside the lighthouse. We then went back to the resort area and boarded a boat to take us out to a mini submarine. This is really a special boat that the center has a glass enclosed viewing area below the water level. This gave us great views of a sunken ship and many beautiful fish. Next the land tour took us to the Natural Bridge. This bridge collapsed in 2005 but the remains of the bridge and a large picture is there. There is also a Baby natural bridge which is still in good shape. This is a beautiful area to view and a must see when in Aruba. Next we stopped at the Natural rock formations. When volcanic eruptions formed this island, this area was formed by huge smooth rocks (some as large as a small house) being pushed to the surface and stacked on top of each other. We were able to climb many of these formations which afforded great views of the island. Read Less

Saw everything that the excursion description promised. Bright, sunny day illuminated reef well. Would avoid a cloudy day - don't think you'd see as much. Every seat (48) was taken. Crowded, but still enjoyed!

This is a nice tour for those who cannot do the more active underwater tours either because they can't swim or have physical challenges. We were picked up by a boat and had a nice ride out to the submarine, about 10 minutes. You do need to be able to transfer to and from the boat to submarine and then step down a ladder backwards, maybe about 8 eight steps. My husband uses a cane and has some mobility issues but was able to do it. The tour staff kindly passed his cane down ahead of him and back up the same way. We went down to almost 140 feet. The reef and shipwreck were fun to see, got some nice photos and enjoyed the info of the guide. We were given Dive Certificates on completion. On the return trip we had an option to be dropped back at the pier, or across the way near the downtown restaurants saving steps or cabfare one way. Read Less

Fantastic! Huge windows in the sub prevented any feeling of claustrophobia. Each seat faced a window. We saw lots of fish and two shipwrecks. The guide was informative and funny. Unfortunately, the photos did not turn out to show the clarity which was actually visible in the sub. I have some trouble with one leg, but it was easy to get into and out of the sub for me. The ladder was more of a staircase, very much like the ones on the tenders. I loved this excursion!! Read Less

I loved the Atlantis sub. From the ship you walk as a group a short distance to the dock where you go on a motorboat tot he submarine. You sit back to back at your porthole and see all kinds of interesting sea life and a couple of shipwrecks. The guide tells you what to look for and I was especially lucky to sit up front next to the assistant, Chris, who spotted many fish and pointed them out to me. It lasts about an hour underwater. On the way back they show you some sights of Aruba and see the beautiful shoreline. Read Less
