Booked golf on my own (ship is of no help with golf or hooking you up with other golfers). Took a cab to course (about 3 miles away the way he went - claimed he didn't know where it was!), which was a $15 ripoff. Course starter was very nice and helpful. Got a nice rental club set, and was paired up with nice guy from Idaho who was staying on island. Course reasonably challenging - most trouble is avoidable if you can hit it straight. Greens were inconsistent - some in good shape, others not so good. Sand traps were like clay - really hard to get out of. Evidence of wild boar diggings near several sand traps, and saw and heard chickens everywhere.
