We went to Jeannies beach which is where the Sea Trek adventure is located. After a brief safety and demonstration were led to the ladder to start our dive. I was unable to complete the excursion do to my ears kept popping from the pressure. My wife said it was awesome and would do it again.

Sea Trek Helmet! Amazing! I have always wanted to scuba but scared because I cannot swim. This excursion was perfect for me. I had a panic attack that lasted about 2 minutes while going down the ladder. The divers removed the helmet and I came back up and was fine after about 2 minutes. Once underwater it took a few minutes to get used to the helmet and then it was soooo much fun. I saw a barracuda, jellyfish, a ray, assorted fish. There was some man made contrived shipwreck or something that didn't interest me at all. The divers were so professional. They were really concerned about your safety and comfort. Make sure you bring your underwater camera! I'm looking into doing the excursions at other ports.

Half of our group took the Sea Trek Mini Sub tour. The rest used the facilities, although there wasn't much to use - not really a beach but rocks down to the water. We didn't even get started looking around when the Mini Sub tour returned. It was cut short due to rain & the water was a bit choppy and cloudy. Of course, we paid full price anyway :( However, those who went said it was awesome & worth it.

In Cozumel we did the SeaTrek with Sand Dollar. I would highly recommend this if you have no experience with scuba diving and want to experience the underwater world. Again, the crew were big on safety. They had several divers down with us and gave us a safety briefing before going down. They will take several pictures and a video of your experience. Pictures are sold on a CD and cash only so again bring extra cash. We got 68 picture for only $35.00.
