The driver was very good and the excursion consisted of mainly be driven to Monaco to investigate on our own and then transported into the city of Eze to visit the village and then our final destination was a perfume factory in Eze.

Eze was breathtaking. A beautiful little town on top of a hill overlooking some awe inspiring landscapes. Well worth the trip. Monaco was nice as well, we got to visit the Rock and see Grace Kelly's tomb. We also visited Monte Carlo, the casino is lovely but don't count on getting a lot of free time to gamble.

We booked in advance a half-day tour to Monaco and Eze. In Eze we visited its medieval streets and the famous Fragonard perfumery. Once we got to Monaco we were lucky and saw the changing of the guard ceremony at the Prince’s Palace and also had time to visit this glamorous city. It was an unforgettable experience.

We tendered from the ship to Cannes. We took a bus tour through Cannes and Nice on the way to the Medieval village of Eze. We loved Eze. It's exactly what you imagine Europe to be and is filled with shops and spectacular views. We then went to Monaco where we go to see the Oceanographic Museum, the Cathedral, and the Prince's Palace. We then had free time to explore, eat and shop before we got back on the bus to go to Monte Carlo. We got to see where the Monaco Grand Prix is held. Monte Carlo was nice but most of it was closed until 15 minutes before we had to leave to go back to the ship.

Eze was great, but beware if you can't walk! We were on a small tour van, so the driver took us up as far as cars can go. The big bus tours leave you down the hill, having to walk up a steep walkway! The visit to Fragonard perfume factory was very good and informative and Monaco was wonderful. BIG SPENDERS!

The tour was actually titled Nice, Eze and Monaco. Our tour guide was tremendous, she pointed out great sights as well as many historical facts and locations. We had lunch in a great restaurant called Pinocchio's which was very nice.

Amazing tour, the scenery from cannes and nice on our way to Eze and Monaco was breahtaking. We are medieval enthusiasts, and the eze medieval village was all we could have hoped for. It is so perfectly medieval, we could have stayed there the entire trip :) The village was guided, so we only had about 20 minutes on our own and would have liked more. Monaco and MonteCarle were also impressive with in a different RICH and decadent kind of way. Beautifyl day trip, highly recommended. You have about 1 hour free time in montecarlo, so you can play casino but there is a fee just to get in to gamble.

Our guide was very good (Georgi) and his voice carried most of the time to the back of the 8-person van. Eze was fascinating and we did not have near enough time there; a true medieval hilltop village, not as touristy as St Paul de Vence. The Fragonard shop was wonderful for gifts (loved the orange blossom, and the rose essences, all natural)but too rushed. Monaco and Monte Carlo.... would not do again, once was enough. Our tour driver stopped at a small street market in Nice so we could make some interesting purchases (wonderful cheeses; artisan soaps; Provencal tea towels and tablecloths, etc.)... much appreciated. We did not need the stop at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral and it cut down on our time in more interesting places, like Eze.

I was not really interested in seeing Monaco, but I did enjoy visiting St. Nicholas Cathedral and paid my respects at Prince Rainier and Grace Kelly's tombs. There was a lot of steep stairs on tour. I had to sit out the visit to Eze, a medieval city at the top of a mountain, only reachable by climbing many steeps. We also stopped at a Perfume factory, which was not on the tour description. I had to pass this one as well due to allergies. I could not even get near the building at this site. Not much free time to grab a bit to eat. Had to eat and run on this tour. For an 8 hour tour we spent a lot of time on the bus driving to one location to another.

The bus ride is only an hour from Cannes but be prepares to get stuck in traffic exiting the cruise port area. Also this is a tendering port, so takes longer to disembark. The Village of Eze is worth the visit, paid the 6 Euro and visit the Garden on top of the Village. The view is spectacular. Monaco is packed with tourists and if have time (3 hrs), be sure to visit the Oceanographic Museum and the Palace. The famous Casino is just packed and no camera allow (you must checked it before entering - they are very straight about it). Lots of nice cars around and expensive shops. Unless you stay in Cannes, better to take the tour offer by the cruise line
