Guide did nothing but board us. No commentary during 50-minute ride each way.

Really enjoyed the few hours with my daughter(mum stayed in the spa this day). The park is well maintained and compact enough to navigate in a short space of time. Seal, dolphin and orca shows helped coordinate the day. The trip to and from the park gave impressive views of mount Teide.

Great day at Loro park. lovely day and fantastic shows. time was very limited. other cruise lines had seats reserved at the shows and a tour guide to show them around and make sure they got to see all the shows and all the park, we were just dropped at the gate and picked up outside the gate later.

Excellent the Park is very wheelchair friendly with priority viewing areas. Accessable toilets . Just a shame my friend had to drag herself up the coach steps.

Having been to Tenerife several times and not visited Loro park decided to try it. We had a great time. Like a condensed version of Sea World (without the roller coaster ride) Had a really nice restaurant lunch there at a very reasonable price.

Booked the Discovery Tour with lunch directly through the LP website. Totally awesome and definitely worth the extra money. Beware of the taxis - they will wait for you but they keep the meter running the whole time you are in the park.

We booked this tour through the Cruise Line because of our limited time at Tenerife. I was glad we did as they took us to the park gate and picked us up at the end of the day. Loro Park was outstanding. My only regret is that we only had a few hours due to the ships docking time. We all rented motorized scooters at the Park due to my Mom's mobility, it made us all equal as there was a lot of walking up and down all over the place. The animals are well presented and the shows are outstanding. You won't go wrong going to Loro Park. Do confirm your motorized scooters several times as I had reserved ours almost a year in advance and had a written confirmation but when we arrived they had no record of it and luckily for us they had 4 scooters available. Schedule your day around the shows and you will be feel as though you more than got your money's worth for the day. A very clean place with outstanding animal shows.

We would recommend any one to visit this park as it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We had great weather, sunny and 29 degrees, and thought the park shows were very good. The layout of the park was very good and well signposted for the all the different species on display and all within easy walking distance. Overall a terrific day out no matter what age group you belong.

We booked this excursion through our cruise ship, Celebrity Equinox. What a fantastic afternoon at Loro Park - although the day for us did not begin so auspiciously - long story, but our daughter has mobility issues, and her ship-owned wheelchair was accidentally broken by a ship employee who was trying to "help" us off the ship - he thought he was stronger than he is and he lost control of the wheelchair heading down the gangway! She was fine, thank goodness, but the wheelchair broke, the plastic bending (I've never seen plastic bend like that!). We should have gotten a new chair from the ship immediately, but we were not aware of the extent of the damages until we arrived at Loro Park and realized that the chair was unusable! My daughter cannot walk at all on her own, so a vacation disaster was averted by our excellent shore excursion tour guide and the very helpful staff at Loro Park. They were able to get a power scooter for her - I don't know how they pulled this off as it was noon time, which means late by park attendance standards and it was quite crowded - so to have a scooter available, when you have to reserve one in advace - well, I believe they pulled something off on our behalf and we are so grateful. So, once we were finally able to go mobile, we carefully planned our afternoon, as after the mobility debacle, we only had 4.5 hours to see this magnificent park! We looked at the show schedule and the map and planned our time strategically. We saw the sea lion show, the dolphin show and the orca show! WOW, all were fantastic!!!! There is a synergy between the sea creatures and their trainers, a mutual respect, you can just feel it. The Penguinarium is like nothing I have ever seen - snow falls from the ceiling; there is a snow slide for the penguins to slide down; the walkway for the people moves around the huge penguin enclosure so all you have to do is stand on it and it takes you around so you see everything, even under the water, so that you see the penguins swimming beneath the surface! The entire park itself is very very clean and exceptionally well maintained. We loved the enclosed bird area as you walk in, climb high, as though you are Tarzan walking in the upper branches of the trees, but on walkways - you get within inches of beautiful colorful birds! When you enter the park, a photo is taken of your group with two huge birds on their perches - it only cost 6 Euro, and it turned out beautifully, so we had to buy it! We highly recommend Loro Park, we would love to return and spend more time there!

Loro Parque is one of the most beautiful parks I've ever visited. We walked on lovely paths with aviaries filled with lovely parrots. The shows were amazing - parrots, dolphins, orcas, seals were so enjoyable. We paid 10 euros for a discovery tour - like going on a back stage tour. We learned about the gorilla population, learned about the various aspects of the park, etc. There is a huge aquarium - we walk in a tunnel and the acquarium surrounds us. All in all, we had an amazing experience.
