The boat ride to the island and back is a BLAST. I was surprised that we spent nearly 4 hours on the island. Food was good.

We wanted something thrilling and active for 15 year old boys so we booked the excursion that involves 2-person speed boats and snorkel. All I can say is WOW! It was so much fun. The boats were very fast. The water was the most beautiful turquoise color (that’s why you travel to the Caribbean, right?) and the view of this part of Cozumel from the water was really pretty. The boys enjoyed the snorkel. I think a diver might’ve been disappointed. There were some fish, sand and coral. I stayed on the speed boat and took lots of pictures of the “boys” in the water. If you forced me to complain about this excursion, I would say they make you wait more than an hour after the excursion is done (in hopes you will purchase their food and the pictures they took of you) and they don’t allow you to put toilet paper in the toilet after you go. Yep! There’s a bucket in each stall that you are to put the used toilet paper in. Ew! Great cultural education for our teen boys, though!! Read Less

Pasion Island by Twister boat. Incredibly fun day. Jet boat tour (25 mins) to Isla Pasion. Before docking at the Island the boats do 3-4 high speed "twists" with the boat that splashes everyone on board and is a ton of fun. Once on the island it is absolute paradise. Palm trees, hammocks, cabanas, umbrellas and beach chairs. Inflatable toys in the water, gorgeous water and beach. Lunch provided and open bar all afternoon. Then back on the twister boat for a couple more "twists" and a ride back to port. Incredible day. Second time we've taken this excursion and we would absolutely do it a 3rd time if given the chance! Jet boats snorkeling and a private beach resort... what's not to like? Barracuda beach is a private piece of heaven. First we were driven by taxi about 15 minutes to a private secluded spot. Then fitted with life jacket and snorkels. We set out for an adrenaline rush of speed boat rides. After about 20 minutes of crazy insane boating.... we jumped into the ocean to snorkel for about 45 minutes. Then back in the crazy boats for another 20 minute drive back to barracuda beach. There we had hammocks a pool and a 7 dollar plate lunch chips and salsa. All authentic and delicious. Not really a swimming location. But the resort was beautiful , and the staff warm and friendly. If your looking for an out of the way relaxing place to go to. Choose this one. Boat ride was a huge hit with everyone and if speed is your thing. You will certainly get your fix Read Less

Best excursion of our trip. The Twister boat was great! (don't go if you don't want to get wet!) The Staff was very safety cautious, fun and delightfully entertaining! The beach was clean, spacious and provide a number of floating water activities (trampoline, slide, obstacle course) to keep the boys (age 12) busy and wanting to stay longer. We had to make them stop and eat. The grilled chicken, guacamole and chips were as far as we got on food and filled up on it because it was so good. Drinks (rum fruit drinks), beer and soda were served to us at our table. The service was great. We could have stayed on the beach twice as long! I highly recommend this excursion. Read Less

This was a fun excursion. Unfortunately Jan. & Feb. are their rainy season so most of the ~2 hrs. we were on the water, the sun wasn't out. When we returned to the small resort, we had a simple Mexican lunch and lounged by the pool for ~2 hrs....again, the sun wasn't out so it was a little disappointing. The resort was not a lodging one, just for day time activities but wasn't busy at all. Would do this again if the sun is out and we could have lounged on the beach when we returned.
