We visited Saint John at rising tide. The caves were still accessible, but hubby was concerned it would be problematic and we opted not to enter them. We enjoyed the scenic bus ride, the beauty and quaintness of the area and the lobster roll & bisque that we bought at The Caves restaurant. We would recommend this one, but wish we had done the reversing rapids tour (the timing was wrong, though).

Took a bus tour to the reversing rapids and the sea caves. Definitely cool to see the rapids at the different tides so you can see the water flowing in opposite directions. SeaCaves were cool but a little underwhelming - especially considering how far of a trip it is.

Highlight of our day- we walked at low tide on the sea floor. Then later in the day during high tide we got to see where we were walking completely under water.

Saw the caves at just past low tide. The rocky beach and scenery were beautiful. We were on a 25 person small bus and beat the crowds. We also visited the reversing falls in Halifax at both low and high tides.
